Earlier this week Selena Gomez and The Weeknd were spotted getting cozy after a date in Santa Monica. Of course The Weeknd dated Bella Hadid for over a year and broke up at the start of November, but there is one issue.
According to TMZ Bella is pissed that Selena is dating The Weeknd because she considered Selena a friend. Sources close to Selena are calling bullshit though. The two were simply friendly, not actually friends, so there is no girl code broken.
I mean, I get why Bella is pissed, it is never nice to watch an ex move on first, especially with someone you kind of know. If they aren’t even friends though then it isn’t Selena’s job to let Bella know.
Again TMZ is reporting that Selena and The Weeknd have been quietly seeing each other since December.
All I can say is that it looks like Taylor Swift has some squad problems.
