Zayn Malik & Dick Wolf Are Producing A Show For NBC About Boy Bands

Zayn Malik is such a fucking weirdo, I don’t even feel bad saying that. He goes out there and quits One Direction because he doesn’t want to be in the spotlight anymore. Well that was what he said at least. So he comes out with a solo album that does extremely well, and then starts to say he has such bad anxiety he can’t actually perform live. Now he is going to be producing a show with Dick Wolf. If you don’t know who Dick Wolf is he created all of the Law & Order seasons along with the entire Chicago family that is also on NBC.

If I was to say that I wasn’t excited for this show though, I would be lying. I may be in my mid twenties (cringe) but I love me some boy bands. It has been well documented on this blog too.

So far all that has really been said about the show is that it will be titled ‘Boys’ and both Zayn and Dick will have a hand in producing it.

Zayn, I thought you wanted to leave your boy band life in the past, not rewrite it on screen. I don’t know, like I said, Zayn is a fucking weirdo.

I will say, I find the whole timing of this to be odd as well. He cancels, well basically every life performance due to extreme anxiety, but he wants to announce his involvement with a television show? Just kind of weird to me.

Anyway, if Dick Wolf is involved it will be around for 20 or so years, which is awesome.

Are you excited for this show? I hope it’s juicy and kind of takes excerpts from real life. I don’t want some bubble gum pop show, I want boy bands on drugs and shit. You know, kind of like One Direction.

There Was A ‘Gilmore Girls’ Reunion Over The Weekend!

I my opinion ‘Gilmore Girls’ was one of the best shows to ever be on television. It was funny, smart, and had such an incredible mother, daughter dynamic that could never be replaced!  Sure their dialogue was a bit fast and there were corny moments, but the show was really something special.

Over the weekend the cast got together at the ATX convention which seems like the coolest place in the world to be. The writers of ‘Dawson’s Creek’ ended up making an appearance and some other old yet incredible television shows. Back to this specific cast though! This show was lightening in a bottle with the cast, I think we can all agree with that.

No talks of a movie yet but I hope that in time there is one because the series finale was just kind of eh. That is how it left me feeling, eh.

Check out the pictures!

These two, still perfect.

I genuinely believe that Alexis Bledel doesn’t age and it makes no sense.

Rory’s three main men. I will be on team Dean until I die.

Man Crush Monday: Benjamin McKenzie

https://savetheoc.files.wordpress.com/2008/07/ben-mckenzie-mad-men-07.jpg

Benjamin McKenzie was my first television crush, you know the one that you wait all week to see on television because you think you are so in love with them? Yeah, well he was mine. Ben playing Ryan Atwood consumed my early teenage years and then him on the show Southland consumed my years up until now. Tonight he will be premiering in the highly anticipated show ‘Gotham’ the prequel to all of that Batman movies. At least that is what I have been told.

I like to think that Benjamin McKenzie has outgrown his whole ‘The OC’ days but let’s be real. No matter who he plays on television, he is basically just plying a grown up Ryan Atwood, am I right?

Really though, can you get a hotter male television actor than Ben McKenzie? Sure he is a bit short but that jawline, those perfect blue eyes, oh and his sexy voice! Can’t forget his brooding, that is another important part of his looks. You just can’t beat it!

Anyway, I am so happy to have this handsome man back on my television and it is important that he stays on the television!

Thanks for continuing to be beautiful, I greatly appreciate it.
