The Weeknd Releases Music Video For “False Alarm”

If you haven’t watched this music video yet, it is super violent! Just a heads on up on that one. If you don’t like violence, don’t watch the video, just listen to the song and click on a different tab.

So The Weeknd is obviously coming out with a new album soon and so far he has released “Starboy” and now “False Alarm”. Personally I would say that I like “Starboy” better than this song. I loved The Weeknd’s old music, it was so sexual and dark and well sexual. This new stuff? I am not a fan of it, there I said it!

Personally I loved The Weeknd and all of that but these past two songs? I can’t get behind them. They just are kind of thoughtless, unfortunately that is how music is now though.

The Weeknd Releases Music Video For ‘Starboy’!

Do I think that The Weeknd has a hit with this song? Yes. Is it a good song? No. Will I still listen to it? Probably.

Honestly, this song is probably the weakest out of all the lead singles that The Weeknd has put out. Let’s be real, his last album was fire on the pop charts and his older albums were absolutely incredible as well. If you haven’t, go listen to his album “Trilogy” on Spotify, and you’ll see what I mean. This song is simply a manufactured pop song rather than what he was doing before.

I do have good feelings about this era of The Weeknd though. He has shaved the dead cat that was on his head and I feel like this is going to be a bit darker. I am ready.

The Weeknd Releases New Song ‘Starboy’ Featuring Daft Punk

Oh hell yeah, I think that I can get behind this new era that The Weeknd is about to get into. His voice is really just so smooth, and his lyrics are dirty, which makes it sound better.

I personally don’t think this is his strongest song of all time but I think it has a lot of potential. After a few times listening to it, I am sure that I will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed it other album.

So check it out on Spotify and Itunes!

I think that his new album is going to be all kinds of amazing.

The Weeknd Announces New Album “STARBOY”!

This new era is gonna be lit! Sorry, I tried to be young and hip.

Last week The Weeknd let his fans know that he was going to be deleting all of the photos from his Instagram account but didn’t say why. It was simply what he was doing and that was that.

Looks like he was preparing for a new era though. Recently in an interview he said that this album was going to be a bit different and his influences had been artists like Prince and The Smiths.

Get ready because soon enough The Weeknd will be back in the top spot where he belongs!

Are you excited for this new album? I am.
