So if you didn’t know Taylor Swift has a lot of power in Hollywood and can tell people to go on stage with him whenever she likes. I am sure that you knew that though because every single night of 1989 World Tour a special guest performance has come out. Nothing compares to her stop at the Staples Center, first of all she sold out 5 nights in a row, an entire week and the celebrities were absolutely insane.
Now I am going to do my best to make sure I have every night correct, not that it matters because let’s be real, if you went to any of these concerts you would have been happy. I learned my lesson. I saw her in Foxboro but next time she comes around I am going to buy tickets to the Staples Center and spend triple the money because of airfare and a hotel. It will be worth it though.
So here we go!
Night One
Ryan Tedder
Ryan Tedder, what a legend. He is one of the best song writers and singers out there at the moment. I hope the crowd is aware that they saw two legends on stage. You hear me kids?!
Kobe Bryant
Kobe Bryant, casual.
Night Two
Uzo Aduba
Uzo Aduba sang ‘White Horse’ with Taylor Swift. I didn’t even know the woman could sing but apparently she can do it all. Easily one of my favorite T.Swift songs too. I wish someone would teach Taylor how to harmonize though, just saying.
MJB!
Nothing like a little Mary J Blige to get you pumped up for some Taylor Swift music, right? Again I hope the crowd can appreciate how truly lucky they are to see Mary J Blige live, the queen of hip hop. Taylor singing this song is pretty hilarious too.
Matt Leblanc, Chris Rock, and Sean O’Pry
Nothing like watching some old men strut down the “runway” to ‘Style’. Look at that security guards face on the right hand corner. “Bitch really?” that is all that he thinking.
Night Three
Ellen
Ellen and Taylor’s friendship is a love story in itself.
Natalie Maines
Their height difference is one of the best things I have ever seen. Natalie can SANG, that is all I can say! I miss Taylor singing country music, this made me sad because she was trying not sound country. Just own Tay, own it.
Alanis Morissette
Taylor is pretty great at break up songs but let’s be real, nothing compares to ‘You Oughta Know’. I am sorry you can never ever get back together with someone, but Alanis is legendary with one break up anthem.
Night Four
John Legend
Because all of me loves all of John Legend. Seriously such an incredible voice, good call Taylor. I seriously need them to record a duet though, I needed it yesterday.
Beck & St.Vincent
Beck crushed it, as always. I hope this little performance got people more interested in him!
Night Five, the final night
Lisa Kudrow
I mean the final night is supposed to be the best night, right? Clearly Taylor knew she had to make it the best night ever so her first guest was none other than Lisa Kudrow singing her hit ‘Smelly Cat’. It’s funny because Lisa is incredible and Taylor loves cats.
Justin Timberlake
To everyone who witnessed this live, I hate you. Justin Timberlake is one of the best artists of our generation, and Taylor is right up there with him. So if you saw this live, I hate you.
Selena Gomez
Sisterhood of the touring friendship. I am glad that Selena finally got on stage with Tay this tour. They killed it together, sounded so incredible.
I just want to say something, Taylor we get it, you’re super famous and can basically make any artist do whatever you want. That my friends is why one day Taylor Swift is going to be president.
This blog was incredibly long dear lord.
