Check Out The Full List Of The 2017 Emmy Nominees

So yesterday the Emmy nominations were announced and one thing is for sure, television has never been better. One other thing that we can see is that Netflix is taking over the categories. The content that is available on streaming can go darker, and have such rich content that sometimes isn’t available on cable television.

The Emmy Awards, hosted by Stephen Colbert, will air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 17 at 8 p.m. eastern time.

Usually I try and predict who will win even if I haven’t watched the show so all of the names you see in bold, that is who I think will win. Really I have no basis to form my opinions, but I am going to do it anyway!

Also these aren’t all the nominees, I lied. I just did the main ones, I couldn’t get into make-up and all of that stuff. Don’t hate me for being lazy.

The 2016 VMA Nominations Have Been Announced!

So that time of year is coming up. The time of year when you automatically know who is going to win an award because they show up. I love award shows where you don’t even really have to guess because the only people who show up at the winners, for the most part. Sometimes there are surprises but not really.

The show will take place on August 28th, on MTV of course and I bet that there will be a lot of drama, and Kimye involved this year.

This year the show will be taking place at Madison Square Garden too which is a big change from the past.

No word on who the host is, at least I have no idea who it is, and as for performances? Still a mystery!

Usually the Golden Globes are my favorite awards show of the year, this year I think that the Critics’ Choice Awards took the cake, it was absolutely hilarious and again the stars got to drink!

One of my favorite things about this award show is that actors who aren’t typically nominated for awards get to be nominated. The people that the Globes pass over every year or that the Oscars miss, they get their chance to shine. Isn’t that what we all want? A chance to shine?

The 2016 Golden Globe Nominees Have Been Announced!

Let’s be real, the Golden Globes are by far the best of all the award shows. Everyone can say that the GRAMMYs are the best, but you’d be wrong. By the end of the Golden Globes most of the crowd is drunk, plus you get to watch all of the stars awkwardly walk by each other because the tables that are laid out are way too close together, that’s always fun.

The past few days nominees for theSAG Awards and The GRAMMYs have been announced and so far so good. Of course they have been snubs but whatever. Genuinely I think that Jake Gyllenhaal should have been nominated for ‘South Paw’ but nobody asked me! I guess there is still time though since the Oscar nominations haven’t come out yet.

I wont be making a prediction for this awards show because again I haven’t seen most of these movies. Don’t worry for the Oscars I am going to blindly choose who I want to win, I know you’re excited!

This year for the Golden Globes the one and only Ricky Gervais is back after being banned because he was too harsh on the poor celebrities. Although Amy and Tina will be missed I think that Ricky will do just fine.

So here are the nominees! Fun fact, this is a good look at what movies will be nominated for Oscars, also the fact that ‘Trainwreck’ is nominated gives me life.

2016 SAG Award Nominees Have Been Announced

Awards season is so damn close! Yes!

Oh the SAG Awards, the awards show that people seem to kind of forget about. The SAG Awards are fun though, I like them, the actors all seem to be a bit more relaxed than at the Oscars.

This week most of the award shows will announce the nominees and it we will see all of the snubs and surprises. Unlike my Grammy  post I will not predict any winners. Personally I haven’t seen most of the movies that are nominated and let’s be real, Modern Family will probably win again. I get that the show is awesome but damn, give someone else a chance! Also the award shows are starting to only really nominate streaming shows, I get it, they are edgy and awesome but cable had some great shows as well.

Here are the nominees though! I am hoping Johnny Depp wins, I know Leo deserves an award, but Johnny as Whitey was absolutely haunting.

I am also hoping that this is Amy Poehler’s year, she really deserves a win. She is a comedic genius!

The 22nd SAG Awards will be presented on Jan. 30 on TBS and TNT
