Man Crush Monday: Khalid

Honestly, I feel like I am late to this party but that’s fine. Right now all I am listening to other than SZA is Khalid. I just can’t enough of him! There is something about his voice that just puts me in a trance. Now to me his music is definitely weed smoking music but it’s just easy music to vibe to.

After doing some Googling, I found out that Khalid is only 19 years old, which is a bit young for me. I feel a little weird writing about how I have a crush on him but you know what? I am just going to own it!

Khalid is definitely going to have a strong career, that is something I am absolutely positive about. With his talent, looks, and voice, he isn’t going anywhere any time soon.

Kesha Drops New Song “Hymn” – Listen Here!

Kesha is just out there dropping new music left and right. I am totally here for this!

Is this song repetitive? Yes. Do I care? Absolutely not.

This song absolutely touched my soul, I know that sounds weird but it just did. I wouldn’t say I am very religious but I definitely think that this song represents how I feel at the moment.

Right now I am just trying to live and not let everyone else’s opinions get the best of me. Which is what we should all do!

Not only is this song meaningful, it’s catchy as fuck. In fact it may be my favorite new song that Kesha has put out recently, although they are all hits.

People seem to forget that Kesha can write music, she has a great voice, and although I do miss the Kesha that drank glitter and whiskey all day, I can definitely appreciate this new sound.

Demi Lovato & Stefflon Don Slay In The Jax Jones “Instruction” Video

Personally like most of Demi’s music, I think that “Instruction” is pretty underrated. This song is a song you can dance to and the lyrics are simple enough. Isn’t that all that people care about now?  A boppy beat and simple lyrics to dance to.

The music video is pretty solid, a lot of dancing and great outfits. What more do you want?

My girl Rita is out there performing “Your Song” everywhere and I would love to heart it on the fucking radio. How does that even happen? Do I call the radio station and ask them to play it? I will fucking do it!

I have been a fan of Rita for a very long time, at least six years.

So it is time for America to show some respect!

Her voice is amazing, she is beautiful, and she has been so slut shamed by the media it’s fucking gross.

Demi Lovato & Selena Gomez Might Be Friends Again!

So it looks like Demi and Selena may be back on with their extremely long friendship. The two of them of course got their start on ‘Barney’ then climbed the ranks on the Disney channel.

They then continued to be on and off as friends, Demi had a big feud with Taylor Swift who is of course Selena’s other bestie.

It’s really just a mess.

Well maybe these two are ready to be mature 25 year olds and be cool with each other.

Demi Lovato Teases New Song “Sorry Not Sorry”

If I have to watch Demi struggle on the charts with this new song, I am going to be livid. Do you hear me? We all just need to help her get back on the charts because with the voice that she has, she needs to chart higher.

Now that I have ended that rant.

Over the last 24 hours, Demi has changed her whole Twitter and Instagram up for her new era, the “Sorry Not Sorry” era.

I have a feeling that this could be leading up to a new album but we will see about that.

It will be released on July 11th and I have a feeling it’s going to be an absolute bop.

Zedd & Liam Payne Team Up For “Get Low” – Listen Here!

I honestly expected way more from this song. Zedd has released some serious bangers and Liam has a great voice but this song has left me underwhelmed to say the least.

Number one I don’t know why they would use the name “Get Low” when Lil’ Jon already released an iconic bop with the exact same name.

I guess that it is a catchy song, I could picture myself just dancing to it without a care in the world and a drink in my hand.

Unfortunately I think that Liam is going to the JC to Niall’s (yes Niall not Harry’s) Justin Timberlake. Yikes.

Kelsea Ballerini Releases Emotional “Legends” Music Video – Watch Here

Kelsea Ballerini is probably one of the hottest young female singers in country music right now, maybe in all of music. Is this something we are all willing to agree on? I hope so!

Well I just watched her “Legends” music video and now I am ruined.

The video shows the relationship between two people who have a well, legendary love for one another. I would watch an entire movie based on these two, that’s how much this short music video pulled me in.

JoJo Drops New Track “Wonder Woman” – Listen Here!

Dear everyone, JoJo is coming for blood, you’ve been warned.

Clearly JoJo is back and everyone should be worried because at the end of the day, she could out sing your fav. Fight me on it, I dare you.

Anyone, her album Mad Love came out back in October and homegirl has been busy touring ever since. The album is actually amazing, go and listen to it right now.

Today JoJo took to Soundcloud and dropped a new song “Wonder Woman”, a soulful song that I will be listening to on repeat.

If JoJo could just release new songs every day, that would be great for me.

Rita Ora Releases Official “Your Song” Music Video – Watch Here!

Rita Ora is back with new music and I am loving it. She has released two versions of “Your Song”, personally I love the acoustic version, but either version will work!

The whole video is in reverse which is actually pretty awesome.

Clearly I have a super girl crush on Rita, so I am trying not to be too crazy about it.

I am just happy she is back, okay?!
