Nick Jonas Covers Latest “Men’s Fitness” Magazine

Now I don’t know if I am about to use this phrase right but I am going to try.Nick Jonas is an absolute thirst trap. Did that make sense? I really tried to use that term correctly.

Basically if Nick Jonas shows his abs, all of the thirsty women and men out there will be game for it. I mean look at this photo. Holy shit. Nick Jonas is all grown up and he wanted to continue to remind us of that, I am here to be reminded daily if he wants to continue to the shirtless photos, I will not be mad. I fall for the thirst trap every single time.

Demi Lovato Gets Really Real With ‘Glamour’ Magazine

Demi Lovato looks absolutely gorgeous on the cover of ‘Glamour‘ and she really did open up big time to the magazine. Of course people are going to give her shit for what she had to say but she is always pretty honest and unapologetic about being honest with herself. It is both a gift and a curse in Hollywood, that is for sure. If she was fake she would be called out for it, now she is going to be called a bitch for her comments about Taylor Swift. Yup, can’t please everyone.

With out anymore waiting, let’s dive into this interview!

On her break up with longtime boyfriend Wilmer : I think it’s healthy to be able to start over with someone else. Being sick was always a part of my relationship with him; I always had something wrong with me. I needed to let go of that. It was hard to depart from somebody who saw everything, but it may be nice to start fresh with somebody. Because that person I was when I was a lot younger is not who I am today.
On Taylor Swift: …. To be honest, and this will probably get me in trouble, I don’t see anybody in any sort of squad that has a normal body. It’s kind of this false image of what people should look like. And what they should be like, and it’s not real.It’s not realistic. And I think that having a song and a video about tearing Katy Perry down, that’s not women’s empowerment. We all do things that aren’t, but I have to ask myself, Am I content with calling myself a feminist? Yes, because I speak out.

On her own triggers: Yeah, of course. Seeing cocaine in movies. I’ve never watched The Wolf of Wall Street. I can’t. I don’t like to go out to clubs, because I find myself seeing remnants of drugs in the bathroom.

On her advocacy on mind and body health: Right—when you’re an artist, you have a platform that can reach millions. I feel it’s selfish when you don’t use your voice, because then you’re just relishing the attention—you’re not using it for good. I have felt uncomfortable having people say, “You’re my idol,” because I want them to idolize God. I want them to idolize somebody that’s done a lot. So I think it’s important that artists use their voices for so much more than just their talent.

Zac Efron Gets Candid About Depression, Tinder, & More In Recent Interview

Recently Zac Efron opened up to the British newspaper The Times about his depression, single life, and more about being a young star in the spotlight.

On the internet: “I lost my mind because of the internet. I’d read 30 positive things and one bad thing, then I’d harbor that bad thing. It drove me crazy.”

On his dating life: “Dating is something I’ll never be able to do, as in the dictionary definition of dating, because one way or another I’ve impacted that person’s life and they’ll soon realize it. A date has to be very long to dispel whatever people think of me.” He also admitted to signing up on Tinder but nobody thought that it was him, so nobody swiped right.

Opening up about his struggles: “I don’t want to sound high and mighty, and I only know my story. There’s a theory that actors should live like monks. You stay private, you make a great movie, then that’s all people see and you’re not a product of your struggle. But if you’re comfortable sharing your story, celebrate it. Most days I wake up excited now. Fifty push-ups, it’s a tradition I got from Batman. Once you’ve done 50 push-ups, you’re not thinking about anything else.”

About always being shirtless in films: “Take your shirt off. Know you’re a douchebag. Make an idiot of yourself. Then reap the benefits. What you get by doing this is street cred, then you get to work with great directors.I need to meet somebody face to face, then I can earn that dramatic cool role, that good role.”

Like I said this interview is really a great piece about Zac and shows that he isn’t some idiot actor. He is putting thought into his roles and what he is doing with his career.

Back to his Tinder moment though? I mean I can’t blame those people but I feel like I would have to swipe right if I ever saw Zac pop up on Tinder. Might as well give it a shot!

I really hope that Zac eventually gets the more dramatic roles that he craves because he does deserve them.

The Most Anticipated Albums Of 2016 According To Rolling Stone

I agree with Rolling Stone magazine 100% on their list of most anticipated albums. Let’s be real at this point Rihanna’s album will probably never be released. She was supposed to release it on Black Friday then for some reason it was pushed back to another date, which she hasn’t decided on.

I do agree with the whole top ten though, mostly in that order. New music from X-tina is absolutely needed. Her voice is fucking incredible and unfortunately she went through a bit of a rough time so she was kind of a cast off for a little while. It is still Britney vs Christina though, look at that, pinning them right next to each other. I see what you are up to Rolling Stone, you don’t fool me!

Katy Perry, will we have a response to ‘Bad Blood’ ? That is my only question for her.

2016 should be a good year for music, I think we can all agree on that.

What album are you more excited for? I can’t lie I am ready for Zayn Malik‘s album to come out just so we can compare it to One Direction‘s new stuff. I want to see if it is a hit or a flop too, we are all curious, right?

Tori Kelly Covers ‘Seventeen’ Magazine

Tori Kelly  is an artist that the whole world has been sleeping on for far too long. She has more talent in her left pinky than most of the female singers out there today. She plays guitar, writers her own music, and has a voice. She doesn’t need any type of autotune or anything to make her voice sound good. She has talent, actual talent, which is something that she should be truly praised for.

In the February issue of Seventeen magazine she opens up about not making it through the auditions of ‘American Idol’, her friendship with Ed Sheeran, and being told she is too vanilla.

On Simon Cowell deeming her voice “almost annoying” and being ousted before semifinals on American Idol: “Deep down, I knew I was good, and I knew I could do it. I needed to get knocked down and to build up a thick skin. Who knows what I would have been singing about otherwise? You have to go through things in order to inspire others with your story.”

On whether she and Ed Sheeran are more than friends: “I knew that was coming, but no. Working with him was a really cool experience because I was a fan and I didn’t know how it would go, but right away he made it super-chill. Ever since then, he’s been someone I consider a friend and even a mentor.”

On dealing with her manager saying she was boring: “He told me, ‘People are saying you are vanilla and that you have nothing to say.’ I was like, Whoa. I remembered record-label guys telling me I was really reserved when I was younger. Like, ‘Wake up, you should be bubbly and happy!’ And I was thinking, But this is my personality; I’m just chilling. So I went right back to being that little girl who was just so freaked out. I acted as if I didn’t care, but I went home that night and just poured all the feelings that I was holding back into my music. That’s how ‘Unbreakable Smile’ came to be.”
Considering Tori is only 23 and she tried out when Simon was a judge she must have been very young, at least she took it as a moment to learn from rather than back down from. Everyone gets a few nos before they finally get the yes that they needed.

5 Seconds Of Summer Receive Major Backlash for ‘Rolling Stone’ Interview

Before I get into writing about this I would actually tell everyone to check out the band’s interview with Rolling Stone because they come off as real assholes. I mean really, really bad. Apparently they didn’t want to come off as that whole we are nice, good guys, instead they opened up about having sex with multiple women at once and constantly partying. Now I am not niave, I am aware that One Direction probably does the same thing but at least they are quiet about it! They don’t feel the need to brag to the world that they can finally get laid now that they are famous.

That is really the only thing that bothered me about the piece. I think they were kind of bragging about how they can sleep with women now, almost like they wanted a pat on the back for it.

In reality this article was about young rich dudes living like young rich dudes. It starts off the day after the AMAs and they wake up at 5 pm. Truthfully I still don’t know which one is which but I don’t tink it matters. They all want fame, money, and women, which is exactly what every young entertainer wants.

One of them also said that they partied with Bieber and he played his own album on loop for 3 hours. Bieber denied it but it sounds like something he would totally do. Back in the day he went to a club and demanded that they only played his music, so I feel like it isn’t that much of a stretch.

Here are just a few quotes from the article.

Ashton on the band not being a “boy band”: “Seventy-five percent of our lives is proving we’re a real band. We’re getting good at it now. We don’t want to just be, like, for girls. We want to be for everyone. That’s the great mission that we have. I’m already seeing a few male fans start to pop up, and that’s cool. If the Beatles and the Rolling Stones and all those guys can do it, we can do it, too.”

Luke on his girlfriend Arzaylea: “It’s hard. One of the weird things is you want it to be a secret, but you don’t want it to be a secret.”

Calum on that Snapchat video: “It was kind of a blessing, in a way, because nothing that bad could actually happen to me again. If another photo of my d–k came out, it will just be, like, ‘Oh! It’s his d–k again.’”

I don’t know, I don’t understand. These guys are going to be loved by teen girls like Good Charlotte were that simple. I am not sure if people will ever truly take them seriously as a rock and roll band, that is why it is hard to say they live a rock and roll lifestyle. Unfortunately they have been grouped with people like Bieber and One Direction to those are aren’t fully familiar with their sound.

Personally I liked Five Seconds of Summer better when they were Simple Plan and ever better when they were New Found Glory.

John Krasinski Covers Men’s Health Magazine

Well hello there Jim Halpert you are looking mighty fine lately! Seriously, John looks absolutely incredible. Apparently in the magazine he opens up about how he only had four months to get into the shape of a soldier, which I probably won’t read. Honestly I will just look at the pictures because my lord John is looking good.

I seriously love John, he just seems like one of the nicest guys in Hollywood. Him and Emily Blunt are adorable, he just seems like such a likable nice person. I think that we can all agree on that. So he has always been adorable, but now he is all muscles so he is sexy. Very sexy.

Ryan Reynolds Opens Up About Fatherhood & Betrayal In The Latest Issue Of GQ

If you want to read the whole article it is here, I would recommend it because it was more interesting than I thought. I have always liked Ryan Reynolds and honestly this is probably the most candid interview I have ever read for him.

In this article he opened up a lot about how much he loves being a dad. I honestly think about him and Blake just walking around being super parents. Just having a gorgeous little girl that looks like both of them, and living the perfect life. Okay, no one has the perfect life but I assume with these two it is pretty close to perfect in their little farm house just outside of the city.

Here are a few excerpts from the article that I found interesting.

On the best friend who betrayed him: “A guy that I’d known for my whole life, one of my closest friends growing up, he had been shopping pictures of my baby around. I kind of got in front of it, which is good. But it was a slightly dark period. A bad couple of weeks… It was like a death. It was like one of those devastating things to find out.”

On why the friend did it: “Just for money. I mean, I don’t think he thought he would ever be caught. But it’s a pretty narrow group of people that I would send photos like that to. They’re just, like, my closest family and my closest friends: ‘Here’s us in the delivery room!’… It was, like, so kind of shocking. There isn’t really a conversation to have. It’s just, ‘Oh, well, now I’m never going to see you or talk to you again, unfortunately.’ That’s kind of how it worked out.”

Were you like, “Next time you need a check, just ask”?: “Well, I think he’d asked for a check enough times where I was like, ‘There’s no more checks to be had.’ ”

On being a father: “I have no problem waking up five times in the middle of the night and changing diapers, and as exhausted as you get, I have this stupid grin on my face all the time. And that’s not because I have a nanny or something like that. It’s just us right now, and I love it”

Can you even imagine? You send one of your best friends a picture of your child and they try and sell the picture. I mean I am all for celebrities not wanting to show off pictures of their kids. Their children are going to have to deal with it forever, it isn’t a big deal if you’d like to keep it private. To have someone who seems to be extremely close do it? That is just beyond fucked up.

I am happy that Ryan is still getting the praise he deserves for his acting, although I would love to see him in some comedies again. ‘Just Friends’ is one of my all time favorite movies, and is more than just a little bit underrated.

Also, I am actually happy those pictures of his daughter James didn’t get leaked because I would probably be jealous of that baby. She was born with perfect genes.

GQ Men of the Year 2013

GQ is one of those magazines that I honestly do not pay much attention to. I feel like they want straight men to read it and use their helpful fashion tips but I don’t think that actually happens. Maybe it does, fuck if I know! Anyway they recently made a top 5 of the men of the year and here you have it.

Matthew McConaughey, Will Ferrell, Justin Timberlake, Kendrick Lamar, and James Gandolfini

First off I will say that I am 300% behind making James Gandolfini one of the men of the year. He pretty much changed television as Tony Soprano and from what everyone says he was an awesome guy. Great actor+awesome guy+ died too soon= GQ man of the year.

Justin Timberlake is also an obvious shoe in for this man of the year award. In the magazine he kind of sounds like a dick saying that he will never give up on acting and gets mad when people say his movies bomb…because they do…Other than that though he deserves it. Growing up I was always a BSB fan but lets be real Justin Timberlake is quickly taking Michael Jackson’s spot at king of pop since he is constantly reinventing himself and the music he sings.

Kendrick Lamar is an alright choice, I don’t really know too much about him but I have heard his music and it is good. He also called out every rapper ever so he has some balls even though he stands at like 5’2.

Will Ferrell- This one I don’t understand, then again I have never understood the whole love of Will Ferrell, he is alright in my opinion but plays the same character in every movie. He is coming out with Anchorman 2 and everyone is getting their panties in a bunch so it makes yet again, I get why they put him on the cover. Having him as himself and as Ron Burgendy is also a genius idea.

Matthew McConaughey, I fucking hate this choice. I cannot stand Matthew McConaughey and I haven’t for years now. I get it you have a weird stoner like southern drawl but why in the fuck is he on this cover? If it is because he didn’t make a sequel to Fool’s Gold then sign me up. Maybe it was because he lost all that weight for some movie that is coming out soon. Whatever it is, he shouldn’t be on this cover. Just sayin’.
