The 2014 iHeartRadio Music Lineup Has Been Announced!

IHRMF

And just like last year, there will be an iHeartRadio Music Festival Village that Saturday afternoon on the Sin City strip, and that lineup includes Iggy Azalea, Neon Trees, Kacey Musgraves, Childish Gambino, MAGIC!, The Pretty Reckless, Nico & Vinz, and Lil Jon. – See more at: (http://www.ryanseacrest.com/2014/07/23/2014-iheartradio-music-festival-lineup-announced/#sthash.9YXyuBQL.dpuf)

For the past what, two years, this has been the musical line up to be a part of. It is one of the biggest concerts of the year and evveryone wants to go. The only thing is that it is expensive, you need to most likely travel, oh and most of the tickets are on hold for radio contest winners all over the country. So it is kind of impossible to go to! Yeah I said it!

This lineup is pretty badass though, I think we can all agree that Friday is the night to be at. I mean Taylor Swift and Usher in one night? I think that my head would explode! Zac Brown Band isn’t bad either, they have some incredible songs, the only person I would skip is Ariana Grande. Let’s be real we all know that Iggy will be making an appearance that night too because she needs to sing “Problem” with Ariana since all she releases is duets rather than her own songs.

On Saturday September, 19th all of this craziness will start and I will probably be at home crying wishing I was there! If any of you radio stations want to give me a free ticket, I won’t hate it.

Taylor Swift & Lorde Frolic On The Beach Together

Image

I think that it can officially be said that the days of Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift being best friends is long gone. Selena you have been replaced by a younger cooler version of you and her name is Lorde. Lorde has Taylor wrapped around her little finger because clearly Taylor wanted to be cooler. I love my T.Swift but Lorde is just cool, that simple.

I have a little bit of an idea though, Swift wants to do a duet with Lorde so bad she will just hang out with her all the time, whenever possible because she knows that a duet would be incredible. I mean Lorde is the next big thing, she is going to rule the world sooner rather than later and I think that T.Swift can see and appreciate that.

These two could easily take over the musical world together and I think Taylor realized that Selena is old news. She escaped rehab and now people are afraid of her. Alright that isn’t true but she did escape rehab after only two weeks.

There is a part of me that wonders what these two even talk about? They probably don’t even talk. Just sit on the couch and text other people.

Selena Gomez Changes Her Tone About Lorde

Image

There is one artist that I think is very powerful and she doesn’t really like me and that’s alright,” Selena recently shared to Seventeen. “Her name is Lorde and she’s cool. I think her message is powerful. She is very young but she has got a lot to say, and that’s great, so more power to her.”

So it looks like Selena has a change of heart now about Lorde. Remember back when Lorde basically said that Selena was desperate singing about how a boy can go and get it? Then Selena fired back saying that it wasnt very feminist of her to take a shot at her? Looks like all that bullshit is water under the bridge now! Now Selena loves Lorde because she realizes something, she needs to become Lorde.

Let’s be honest Selena Gomez is the Hillary Duff of her generation. She started off on a Disney channel show and then became a singer and people love her because she is wholesome and cute. How much longer will that last though? It will be super hard for her to shed that image and eventually people will realize she isn’t a great singer.

I have a theory though, you know how much I love theories. Something about T.Swift loving Lorde probably have Selena an extra push to be friends with the young singer. Selena probably wants a duet too since Lorde is the hottest singer in the world at the moment. Maybe Selena is trying to steal her talent! No, that isn’t true, I know that.

Glad to see these two are playing nice now, although Lorde never apologized about what she said in regards to Selena Gomez. Selena had to obviously cave though since Lorde is the new Lord music.

Bow down Selena, bow the fuck down.

Lorde Is Still Your Ruler After Grammy Night

Image

Haters to the left, haters to the right, haters everywhere right now for my girl Lorde. People are hating that she is apparently “awkward” and that she is the Kristen Stewart of the music world. Was Lorde’s Grammy acceptance speech a little weird? Yes, it was, there is no denying that. Was it Kristen Stewart bad? Fuck no! There is no way that this 17 year old’s speech was that bad. She was just nervous, Kristen Stewart is just tapped.

I guess if was 17 and won an award, literally any award, it could be the spelling bee, I would be all kinds of nervous. She was up against some big names and she wasn’t in the first spot to win for most people. Lorde just has sometime different about her. People can say that she ripped of Lana Del Rey which I can see but she is owning it. Lorde is incredible! End of story!

Also there are a lot of people judging her talent from one song, ‘Royals’ which got annoying to most people. If you listen to her album entitled Pure Heroine you will realize that this girl is doing incredible!

So you go Lorde and don’t let any of the haters criticize you because you have incredible tone and depth to your voice! She also makes me want to go to New Zealand even more than I wanted to before I heard her fucking awesome accent.

Taylor Swift and Lorde party together!

Image

T.Swift has been finishing up her Australian leg of her Red tour and during this time she turned 24. Well it looks like she is now besties with the one and only Lorde. Most people know that Lorde threw shade at Taylor Swift saying she was too perfect or some shit like that. T.Swift clearly wanted to prove to Lorde that she is perfect so she forced Lorde to befriend with her. Now her and Lorde are friends, tadah!

Can you imagine if these two teamed up for a collaboration? That needs to happen RIGHT THE FUCK NOW. We are never ever ever going to be royals, that is probably what it would sound like.

I must say I am a bit offended though, how didn’t I get an invite to this party? I mean I love T.Swift, I love Lorde and that is that! I should have been the first in line when it came to this party. I guess that they knew I have a busy life though, it is cool I will forgive them.

Lorde can be my ruler.

Image

Lorde can be my ruler, I truly mean that when I say it too. Lorde is the newest musician that has really caught the attention of me and the rest of the world. She has a very different sound, like Lana Del Rey except way better. Another thing is that she is only 16 and she is talking about walking tiger’s on gold leashes, what a fucking badass. When people say that Lorde’s song “Royals” is annoying it is clear that they just don’t understand what good music is. Being only 16 if you listen to more than just the song “Royals” as a listener you will realize that she is wise beyond her years. Although she has thrown shade at my queen Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, and little Selena Gomez she doesn’t really get any shit for it because she is just so damn talented. Lorde is going to rule the music scene for a while, I am sure of it. A sound that is unique and isn’t about a break up is just what the music industry needs. A young strong vocalist who seems to have a good head on her shoulders. So Lorde, you can be my ruler, I will call you queen B (Although the true Queen B will always be Blair Waldorf) and you can live your fantasy. If you haven’t listened to her other songs I would strongly recommend doing that right this instant.
