Demi Lovato Is Being Sued By Sleigh Bells Over Her Song “Stars”

Back in November the band Sleigh Bells accused Demi of basically taking samples from their song “Infinity Guitars” on her song “Stars”.

Lovato’s producers Carl Falk and Rami Yacoub responded, to Billboard, saying, “We did not use any samples in Demi Lovato’s song ‘Stars.’ Demi was also not involved with the production. She only wrote top line.”

Now listen, I love Demi, she is one of my favorite but these two songs sound a lot alike. I mean a lot a like. Like maybe Demi was listening to Sleigh Bells song when she decided to write her own song. Usually it is hard for me to hear the same melody or something but not with this one, it is very similar.

I am assuming this will just settle out of court. That’s my hope at least.
