Nelly Fans Rally With #SaveNelly & #HotInHerreStreamingParty Trend On Socia Media

Usually I hate most of the trending topics on the internet, I can’t stand the Harambe jokes anymore, I don’t like the Arthur memes, but #SaveNelly? That hashtag is one that I can fully put my support in.

The hashtag started to trend when news broke that Nelly, one of the most beloved rappers of all time, owes $2.4 million in taxes. At first I thought, how could this happen? How could you not pay that much money to the IRS. Then I saw the hashtag #SaveNelly and #HotInHerreStreamingParty trending, and I knew I had to be a part of this movement. I may not be interested in the Presidential election that is happening because both people running are lizards, but this movement? I could be behind it.

The goal is stream any of Nelly’s music, preferably “Hot In Herre” enough to help the rapper pay off his insane debt.

Of course streaming barely pays anything so we as a country need to play “Hot In Herre” a total of 287,176,547 times, but most likely more times.

Nelly has a diamond record. Nelly had a ton of bops. Nelly needs us, we need Nelly.

Just put one of Nelly’s albums on repeat on Spotify, or whatever other streaming you can, and keep your computer on silent if you don’t want to hear it.

If there is one thing I think the internet can do, it is to play “Hot In Herre” over 200,000,000 times, together we can make Nelly great again.

Nelly’s “Country Grammar” Album Is Certified Diamond

In 2000, Nelly came into the scene with his Midwest flow rapping ‘Country Grammar’ and following it up with the album “Country Grammar” as well.

Well, 16 years later, it is now certified diamond, something that not many albums ever achieve. Let’s put it this way, rappers like 50 Cent and Jay Z have never had any of their albums go diamond. Well, I should say yet because it took Nelly 16 years.

I think that we can all agree that  in the early 2000’s Nelly owned the rap game, as strange as that sounds but with songs like well, ‘Country Grammar’, ‘Ride Wit Me’, ‘Shake Ya Tailfeather’, ‘Air Force Ones’, ‘Hot In Herre’, along with duets like ‘Dilemma’ with Kelly Rowland (my favorite former member of Destiny’s Child), and ‘Over and Over’ which brought in country superstar Tim McGraw. I mean, he was all over the place with genres!

Word on the street is that Nelly is trying to make a cross over into country music, so we will see how that goes. His remix of ‘Cruise’ with Florida Georgia Line was a smash hit, so it wouldn’t surprise me if it actually worked in his favor!

Nelly, thanks for being my first favorite rapper ever, but I am still a little salty that you and Ashanti broke up, because you two were my favorite.

Taylor Swift Performs “Hot In Herre” With Nelly In St.Louis

Let’s be real, Nelly is St.Louis royalty so bringing him out on stage is a brilliant move. Although is Taylor Swift can get Mick Jagger out on stage she can absolutely bring Nelly out on stage.

Something about Taylor Swift trying to be sexy makes me feel so uncomfortable. I mean I get it, “Hot In Herre” is a great song. We all love it. But as you can see from the video below they sing sexual healing, it is kind of weird. I mean I feel like I am a prude for saying that but I don’t know. Tay being sexy makes me feel weird.

Anyway, Nelly is so hot. I mean he is just so damn sexy I can’t even explain it.

Just watch the video and enjoy it! Just try not to watch Taylor or the Haim girls dancing.
