‘American Idol’ Is Officially Coming Back To ABC

So I only have one question, why? Why in the actual fuck is ‘American Idol’ coming back at all? This show ran it’s course.

Listen, I understand the pop culture influence that this show had, there’s no question about that. I mean, Ryan Seacrest literally taught us how to type out a text in order to vote for our favorite.

So far there is no real information about the show or about who the host would be. I wouldn’t be surprised if Ryan took back the role of host.

This is just a waste in my opinion, there’s no reason to ever renew this show. Let it rest in peace.

Tyra Banks Will Replace Nick Cannon On ‘America’s Got Talent’

So I have to say, I really dropped the ball on the whole Nick Cannon and ‘America’s Got Talent’ mess that happened. Basically Nick said a joke about the show, the show didn’t appreciate it, and then he went on a rampage about how NBC doesn’t appreciate him. It was just a hot mess.

Word on the street is that NBC wanted to try and salvage their relationship with Nick, but he just wasn’t interested.

His loss.

Today the one and only Tyra Banks took to Twitter to announce that she was going to be taking Nick’s place on ‘America’s Got Talent’.

I am all about this replacement because Tyra is a legend, Nick has always annoyed me so maybe I will actually watch this season!

Jimmy Kimmel Will Be Hosting The 2017 Oscars!

It has been confirmed that Jimmy Kimmel will be hosting the 2017 Oscars! Earlier this year Jimmy hosted the Emmys and did an incredible job, just enough comedy along with being snarky. Just the way I like him.

The Oscar’s will be full of pranks, mean tweets, and Matt Damon jokes whether you like it or not!

Personally I think that it is a great choice. One of the reasons I like Jimmy is that he isn’t afraid to pick on celebrities, it is great.

The show will air on February 28th on ABC, and nominees should be announced in January I believe.

James Corden Will Host The 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards

Oh hell yes! I can totally be down for this host. James Corden quickly took over late night and it looks like he will be taking over all of the hosting gigs too. Something that I will definitely not complain about.

James is my favorite late night host (sorry Jimmy Kimmel), but his sketches are just so damn good and he isn’t annoying. He can sing, and he uses it to his advantage, he also is just so likable. He just looks like a blonde British teddy bear, right?

The broadcast will air February 12th, 2017 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

So what do you think, did they choose the right host for the GRAMMYs? I am 100% behind this!

Ariana Grande Nails Multiple Impressions On Saturday Night Live

So fun fact, Ariana Grande is really good at doing impressions of people. I have to give credit where credit is due. She might not be the most likable celebrity out there but hey, she is good at what she does. She can sing and surprisingly she was an incredibly good host. I have never thought she had much stage presence but homegirl can act. I know she started off an actor, so obviously it makes sense but SNL was great this week with her as host and performer!

I must say her impersonation of Jennifer Lawrence was my absolute favorite. Finally someone, well a whole television show is calling her out for always talking about how relatable she is. Ariana killed her voice too, I didn’t know people had a Jennifer Lawrence impression but I am very happy that Ariana Grande does!

Then of course she pulled out her Britney impression, on point, along with her Celine impression and finally a Whitney impression.

Good job Ariana, you were very likable and hilarious.

Simon Cowell Will Take Over For Howard Stern On ‘America’s Got Talent’

Yes! Simon Cowell is going to be a judge on an American show again and I couldn’t be happier about it! Howard Stern was great on the show, I mean he is hilarious but I do love me some Simon. I am oddly attracted to Simon Cowell too, but that isn’t the point of this story.

Simon has been doing the whole ‘X-Factor’ thing over in Britain and even brought it to America but it failed after only three seasons. I personally wouldn’t call it a complete fail though, I mean Fifth Harmony came from there and they are pretty awesome.

Anyway, I think Simon is the perfect addition to the show and I can’t wait to see him roll his eyes and talk about how someone has no talent.
