Music Monday: “Sushi” – Hoodie Allen

Well it has been a while since I have done a Music Monday post but there was a reason I didn’t write about Hoodie’s song that was released last week, I needed it for this week!

Hoodie Allen is one of my favorite rappers out there, his lyrics are smart, his songs are catchy, and he is a rap Zac Efron. What more could you ask for?

It has been a little while since Hoodie released new music but clearly fans are here for Hoodie’s new music because it has already charted on Spotify and Itunes.

This song was definitely worth the wait, I am a big fan of it. Catchy, fun lyrics, and Hoodie sounds great on it!

I have decided that this year has to be Hoodie’s year for making it mainstream. It seems like he doesn’t really care if he is on a track with Britney or Camila Cabello or anything, but I genuinely don’t think he needs to feature a well known female singer to get those plays. Hoodie can do it all himself.

So check out “Sushi” below and be ready because on September 29th he will be dropping his new album The Hype.

Hoodie Allen Is Throwing A Fansgiving!

Now what exactly is a Fansgiving you ask? Well it is something that Hoodie Allen decided to put together because as always he is great to his fans. No, seriously, he is. His last album was available on Itunes for only $5, or you could download it for free, he didn’t care, he just wants support!

Back to Fansgiving. Hoodie is going to be performing two shows in Boston and New York and the fans get to pick the set list and everyone that attends will also get a meet and greet. The venues are smaller than regular but it’s still pretty amazing that he decided to do that. Right?

To find out more for the Boston show, click here, and to find out more about the New York show, click here!

I am hoping to be at the Boston show and maybe, just maybe I can finally do a quick interview with him for Celebrities Are Tragic!

Happy Birthday Hoodie Allen!

Happy birthday Hoodie Allen!

Hoodie is by far one of my favorite rappers out there right now. He is an incredible lyricist and his songs are fun. There’s a lot of love about Hoodie, that’s for sure. The rap Zac Efron, turns 28 today and is currently in Europe on his Happy Camper tour.

Not only is Hoodie an incredible rapper he also gives back to his fans all the time. He is always on twitter responding to them, right now he is looking for fans to help run his European tour Snapchat. His last album he let his fans download it for free, or buy it for just $5.

In my opinion he is one of the few who does it because he loves his music and loves his fans.

He has also given me love on Twitter, always liking my posts about him, so that’s awesome.

Seriously though, if you haven’t checked him out, go and do it because you’ll fall in love immediately!

Hoodie Allen Offers Help To Fans In Need!

I don’t think that I really need to elaborate what Hoodie is putting together for his army of fans. He wants people to be able to just have somewhere to go, an outlet in a way to talk about their issues. Now this is one of the many reasons I am proud that I have been a fan of Hoodie’s since the start. I think the he is incredibly talented, but he also gives back to his fans a lot. He is constantly responding to them on Twitter, Facebook, and clearly this act of love shows that he genuinely does care.

Now he is calling on the Hoodie Mob as he liked to call it, to help him out here because let’s be real this inbox is going to be flooded. Not many celebrities would even think of doing something like this, so I give him extreme credit. Letting fans help fans, he will try and reach out to fans. Sometimes people just need a place to vent out about school, work, relationship issues, really anything. There are only so many times you can tell someone you hate your job until they tune you out.

So good for you Hoodie, there is a reason I have supported you for the last however many years, still a huge fan!

Really though, if you are reading this and you feel like there is nowhere to go, email that place or even email me. All of my contact info is in my about me. I will gladly listen without judgement. Everyone should be able to speak their issues without being judged.
