The Grammy’s 2015 Best Dressed Men List!

I did the list for the women so I might as well do it for the men as well right? Most people assume that men just wear the whole normal suit and tie thing, but you’re wrong. There are many different ways that men rock their suits, and some are good, some are bad. Let’s get right into it, shall we?

My personal top 5 for the night.

5. Nick Jonas

It’s always nice to see some kind of pattern on the carpet. This isn’t the best use of patterns but let’s be real, Nick Jonas can really do no wrong this year. This has been his year, absolutely perfect too.The pants are a little too tight, but hey, we can work with that. I like that he took a risk, and I believe that this risk ended up paying off.

4. John Mayer

Usually I am not a big fan of the huge stupid glasses, but somehow John pulled it off. I don’t know how but he did. Maybe it is simply because he was straight killing it on the guitar and it went right to my heart. I like that he didn’t go for the classic black suit, instead he went for blue and then it looks like some kind of checkered pants.

3. Julian Edelman

Clearly I am madly in love with Julian Edelman but he looks nice and suave right here, right? To me it almost looks like he is going to prom. His hand position makes him look all nervous, but still adorable. Again a suit that fits his body perfect. His haircut makes him look super sharp though, that is what gets to me.

2. John Legend

John looks perfect, just perfect. This suit is perfectly suited for him. I love that he didn’t feel the need to go with the tie. The whole grey colored suit has always gotten to me. Simple yet classic.

1. Donald Glover (Childish Gambino)

Well fun fact, Donald Glover didn’t smile once while on the red carpet, he made that grouchy face the entire time he walked down it. Other than the lack of happiness, I think that this is my favorite look. Everything from his hair to his loafers, just straight killing it.

The Grammy’s 2015 Worst Dressed Women List!

I said it in a previous post when I was listing the best dressed women (https://lagunabiotchcelebritea.wordpress.com/2015/02/09/the-grammys-2015-best-dressed-women-list/) I don’t know much about fashion. I am not one of those girls who knows the names of all the designers, I don’t know what colors are in, I don’t know any of that! I do know what I like to look at though and what is displeasing to my own eye. My opinion is that you don’t need to be an expert to know when someone is wearing something you don’t like.

Let’s get going with the worst dressed!

5. Ariana Grande

 I don’t hate this dress, I just hate how she is wearing it if that makes any sense. I feel like if it was someone who had a fuller figure, then it would look incredible! The little silver fabric throws me off though. Is that a thing? Is this in style? Also Ariana, let your hair fall free, let it breath, that high ass ponytail is getting a little bit old.

4. Kim Kardashian

No surprise here that Kanye West was her stylist for this show. He never puts her in anything that is really fitted well to her body. This dress is basically like the J.Lo Grammy dress except instead of it being green and see through, it is gold and looks heavy as hell. I hate this dress, I think it is extremely unflattering, like we get it Kim you have boobs, and we can almost see your hoo-ha. If you covered up fully, that would be a real red carpet shocker.

3. Charli XCX

I feel like if she is trying to be edgy it isn’t working. I do like her little jelly shoes that have heels on them though, those are high class fashion. Charli, you are lucky that there are a few worse than you or else you’d be straight to the top for worst dressed of the night!

2. Madonna

Well Madonna is going to be Madonna. I didn’t expect her to dress up in anything nice. This is just one of the worst of the night. She did look killer on stage though, so she kind of made up for it! Go back to wearing suits Madonna,

1. Rihanna

Listen, I love Rihanna a lot more than people understand. I love her singing, I love all of that. This dress though? What in the hell was she thinking. Rihanna usually kills it on the red carpet too which is why I am so confused! I think they sell her dress at Bath and Body Works if you are interested though. This is just all kinds of no.

Taylor Swift & Kanye West Share A Hug At The Grammys!

The war is over! The war is over! The Taylor Swift and Kanye West war is over! This is a big day in the world. If these two can hug it out at an awards show, we should all be able to get along! Unless you live under a rock everyone is aware of what happened between these two. Kanye bum rushed the stage and stole the mic from Taylor, did a Kanye shrug then just walked off the stage.

It took Kanye a long time to put that past him, or well it took the media a long time to put the whole Kanye and Taylor thing in the past. Clearly T.Swift has forgiven Kanye and now they can make music together. Do I think that they are really going to make a song together? Probably not, but it would be kind amazing, right? Like Kanye and T.Swift just doing the damn thing.

This did turn out to be the strangest photo of all time. It looks like Kanye really needs to use the bathroom and is holding it in. That is the only way I can describe Yeezus’ face.

T.Swift still hasn’t forgiven Katy Perry though, no photos of them embracing.

Rihanna, Kanye West, & Paul McCartney Perform FourFiveSeconds On The Grammys!

BEST PERFORMANCE OF THE NIGHT, HANDS DOWN!!

I will go out there and say that this was the best performance of the night! Rihanna looked absolutely incredible too, her vocals were on point. Then you have Kanye who is just a little weirdo killing it on stage. Yeah, I think that Kanye is a weird dude but I love him. Paul McCartney is such a God he literally just needs to stand there and play the guitar and he crushes it.

Rihanna looks so incredible though, right? Like Rihanna is my ultimate woman crush, over T.Swift, which is really saying a lot. I am glad she changed out of her giant loofa looking dress, Seeing her with her hair all sleek, wearing all black, I just can’t get enough!

Rihanna is back, you all better watch out!

The Grammy’s 2015 Best Dressed Women List!

So I am not really one who loves fashion, I don’t want red carpets for the fashion, I watch it for the awkward questions. I do know when I like something though. Everyone knows when something is appealing to the eye and when something makes you want to rip your eyeballs out. Right? You don’t need to be an expert to be able to say someone looks good and someone looks bad.

Let’s get this thing going, right?

5. Rita Ora

Rita Ora is pretty damn perfect, there is no question about that. In my opinion Rita is one of the most underrated performers in the world. She has such an incredible voice, she is beautiful, and look at her looking like a disco ball! I mean it isn’t something I usually like but I am a big fan. I think that her fabulous haircut has something to do with it. It all just works. I will give this outfit a solid B+, I am a fan!

4. Miley Cyus

I have seen a lot of hate on this outfit but I really love what she is doing here. Yeah there are tons of pieces of fabric missing but I don’t care, I love it. Miley is rocking this look for sure. I am so glad seeing her coming back to earth, I think she was up hanging out in Mars for a while or something. Miley is on fleek though. On fleek, that is what the cool kids say now, right?

3. Taylor Swift

I think that Taylor Swift always dresses to kill and that is exactly what she did here. I will say that I don’t love the shoes but damn look at those legs! Tay can really do no wrong in my opinion, can’t get enough of her! I suspect that she will be nominated like crazy next year. I will say that she will have to step up her game!

2. Jhene Aiko

So I am not a hundred percent sure who Jhene Aiko is, I know that she did a song with Drake that was really good but other than that I genuinely don’t know much. I do know that she is number two on this list because she looks incredible. I love how it fits her body and it isn’t a big dress, it isn’t over sized or anything like that. It fits her body perfect and the tone of the dress is perfect for her skin tone. I give this an A+ and now I will go and listen to her music so I don’t sound so ignorant.

1. Lady Gaga

Not only was Lady Gaga best dressed but she also had the best date, I mean who doesn’t love Tony Bennett? He is the man. Anyway, Lady Gaga got first place this red carpet for most improved. I think that this dress is absolutely incredible. I mean sure her boobs are out to play, but hey, she is killing it. I mean on year she showed up in an egg so seeing her like this is absolutely incredible. Killing it Gaga, I am glad that you came to earth too! You and Miley must have taken the same spaceship!
