Taylor Swift & Zayn Malik Team Up For “I Don’t Want To Live Forever” Music Video

The wait is over, Taylor and Zayn have finally released a music video to go along with their song “I Don’t Want To Live Forever”.

The video isn’t too bad, it ends with a lot of longing glances but I liked it. The song has yet to fully grow on me but the video wasn’t too bad. I can appreciate music videos that try to have storylines that go along with them. It is a lost art if you ask me!

Zayn just seems to have zero emotion. That is something I have noticed about him. Even in this video you can tell that Taylor is giving her all and Zayn is just like a mopey zoo lion. A lot of hair and not much behind that hair.

Taylor Swift Teases “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” Music Video With Zayn Malik

I think I might actually be starting to like this song but I also have this theory. Bare with me, okay? My brain is so conditioned to liking Taylor Swift I will like any song that she is in. Honestly, I hate Zayn ‘s verse but then Taylor swoops in and saves the song so my brain is aware that I should like it.

Whether I like the song or not though, it’s a hit.

Taylor announced that tomorrow night the music video will be released and I am shook. I don’t know how I will react to Taylor trying to be sexy while Zayn probably circles her and does his brooding glare. It will probably be corny as hell but whatever, I will probably watch the hell out of it.

The ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ Soundtrack Features Nick Jonas, Nicki Minaj, John Legend, & More!

There is a 100% chance that I will no be seeing this movie but there is a pretty good chance that I am going to need some of the songs off of this soundtrack.

I already know that I don’t like the Zayn  and Taylor Swift song. Their voices just don’t mesh well together in my opinion. Maybe if he didn’t sing so high it would have worked out a little better, but he did and now it is ruined.

This Nick Jonas and Nicki Minaj collaboration though? Why didn’t we know about this sooner! I know that they thought they could probably get more publicity through Zayn and Taylor (which they were right about), but I bet Nick and Nicki’s song is going to be fire.

Having Halsey on the soundtrack is also a big step in the right direction for all parties involved. She also announced it will be released on Friday, so we will be able to hear it sooner rather than later!

Some other notable names on the list, John Legend, Sia, Tove Lo, The Dream, and Anderson East.

The soundtrack will be released the same day as the movie, February 10th.

Taylor Swift & Zayn Surprise Everyone With “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” Duet

Well, looks like we did get new Taylor Swift music by the end of the year.

Unfortunately we got this song. I mean I get what they were trying to do, a duet on the ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ soundtrack does sound like a really great idea. Ariana Grande and The Weeknd absolutely killed their duet which was featured on the first movie. This song though, it just doesn’t do much for me.

Now before you all jump all over me, let me be clear. I like Taylor’s verse. I think that Taylor sounded different but not terrible, and it was, alright. It was better than “Welcome to New York”, so there’s that. Zayn though? Zayn doesn’t do anything for me. I understand that his solo album sold like crazy, I understand that people love him. I just wish he would fucking enunciate his words. I can’t understand a damn thing that he is saying.

With that said, I think that the song had potential, Taylor’s verse was great, she just didn’t have the right duet partner.

Then again what do I know because this song went to number 1 on Itunes in like 10 minutes.

Hey Zayn, this isn’t helping you with your whole “I don’t want to be famous” bullshit campaign you’ve been putting out, just saying.

I genuinely believe that this was just a quick way for two rich people to get even richer by getting put on a soundtrack and getting royalties. Can’t hate the player though, you gotta hate the game.
