Kevin Hart Donates To Hurricane Harvey Relief & Challenges Friends

Kevin Hart is putting his money where his mouth is!

A lot of celebrities are posting about Hurricane Harvey and how you can help, but according to Kevin not enough people are actually donating to the cause.

To be fair I will say that celebrities do make anonymous donations and don’t go straight to the media, but I just wanted to throw that out there. I don’t want it to seem like Kevin is the only celebrity that has donated, he could be, we don’t know, but he is the first to be very vocal about his donation.

Okay, now that I got that out of the way, Kevin has challenged celebrities like Justin Timberlake, JAY-Z, Beyonce, Chris Rock, The Rock, and more to donate like he did.

Considering Beyonce is from Texas, I am actually surprised that she has stayed rather mum about this horrific event.

Amber Heard Donates Entire $7 Million Divorce Settlement From Johnny Depp To Charity

Remember when everyone said that Amber Heard wanted to divorce Johnny Depp because of his money? Remember when everyone said that she was just using the whole domestic violence thing in order to get more money? You can all sit down now.

Amber Heard and Johnny Depp settled out of court earlier this week and are officially divorced. Amber received 7 million from Depp and she donated it all to charity. Sorry haters, I can’t hear you right now.

Everyone knows that this won’t even hurt Depp’s career which is too damn bad but Amber will most likely be blacklisted from Hollywood in one way or another.

I have to give credit to Amber though, she stayed with the case, didn’t let people bully her out of it and she gave the money to charity to help others in her situation. That is a stand up move if you ask me.

Taylor Swift Donates $1 Million To Louisiana Flood Victims

Love her or hate her you can’t disagree with me that Taylor does put her time and money into charities and helping others. This isn’t the first time that she has donated to a cause and even though Demi Lovato called her out, saying that actions speak louder than money, money helps a lot too. Especially in events like this. Helping provide shelter, food, and other aid at a time in need is extremely important.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Taylor spoke with the Associated Press explaining that Louisiana has always welcomed her with open arms.

“We began The 1989 World Tour in Louisiana, and the wonderful fans there made us feel completely at home. The fact that so many people in Louisiana have been forced out of their own homes this week is heartbreaking,I encourage those who can to help out and send your love and prayers their way during this devastating time.”

I know that people say that their thoughts and prayers are with the people of Louisiana at this time, as some people lose literally everything they own but the clothing on their back. Be sure to donate if possible though, it is very important to help those in need.

Ryan Reynolds Asks Fans To Donate To Young ‘Deadpool’ Fan Battling Cancer

Ladies, gentlemen, boys and girls. This is my friend, Connor McGrath. He’s quite possibly the biggest #Deadpool fan on earth. He was also the first person ever to see the Deadpool film. Like Wade Wilson, Connor’s trying to put cancer in his rearview mirror.

About 6 weeks ago, I traveled to Edmonton Alberta to show Connor the movie at his hospital. Of course, the Deadpool was right up his alley because Connor’s the funniest, potty-mouthed Canadian mercenary I’ve ever met.

He’s my friend. I know lots of celebrities jump up and down touting a cause — and maybe I’m no different. But holy frozen shit-slivers, I love this kid. He’s the GREATEST. And he needs your help to get well. I’ve donated to help Connor and I hope you will too.

Good for you Ryan Reynolds! See Ryan has been around for a long time, but I think with ‘Deadpool’ his career is taking off in a much bigger, giant way. Much like how ‘Guards of the Galaxy; helped Chris Pratt kind of revamp his career. With this new found, bigger success Ryan has decided to reach out and help one of his biggest fans.

According to reports Ryan went to the hospital in Canada, just him. He didn’t have an entourage or any press along with him. He spent time with Connor and got to know him and decided to post about him, all on his own doing.

It is always nice to see celebrities doing great things for people in need which is why I had to share Ryan’s post. Connor I hope you know that you now have so much support from so many different people! I wish you the absolute best of luck!

Big Sean Is Donating $10,000 To Flint, You Can Help Too!

I love seeing that more celebrities are starting to get involved to help the Flint water crisis! I would much rather focus on this than the Oscar issue because these celebrities are doing good! They deserve the praise.

Big Sean just joined Meek Mill, Cher, and Michael Moore when it comes to helping the people of Flint, Michigan.

Not only has Big Sean donated $10,000 to the children of Flint, he has also put up a Crowdrise page so anyone can donate. With a $10 donation you get put in the running to meet Big Sean at one of his shows! So that is pretty incredible.

Here’s How Can You Help Victims Of The Paris Attacks

So I have held back from writing about the terrorist attacks in Paris simply because I do try and keep my blog light. I try and write funny stuff, I try and make people laugh with my writing. Also I have no words for the tragedy that Paris has suffered. No words I write could possible make the situation better. Over the weekend there was a lot of violence all over the world but Paris stands out. This was a plotted attack by evil people. People who don’t deserve to see the light of another day, I genuinely believe that. An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind, but at times it seems like there is nothing more that can be done to put a stop to evil. Love can only go so far.

I am writing this post though because I believe a lot of people want to help the victims of this tragedy. Of course there is the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) which directly supports the French Red Cross and has announced it has hundreds of volunteers on the ground in Paris working with victims and their families.You can also donate to Friends of Fondation de France, Inc. which is a French charity that helps during times of emergency.
