Donald Glover Looks Handsome At The 2017 Met Gala

Hello, my name is Willi Killiams and I have a massive crush on Donald Glover. There, I said it!

I feel like Donald has been pretty quiet lately, he hasn’t really been on many red carpets or anything like that. Then again he is extremely private and always has been so I guess I shouldn’t be that surprised.

Today he showed up to the Met Gala looking super hot though.

Thank you for being super talented and for that bit of facial hair. We can all appreciate it.

Seth Rogen & Billy Eichner Join ‘Lion King’ Remake

Although I am not totally behind this ‘Lion King’ CGI movie, I will say that the cast so far is pretty solid.

So far we know that James Earl Jones will be back to voice Mufasa and Donald Glover will voice Simba. There have been rumors that Beyonce will voice Nala, but there is nothing confirmed yet.

Another confirmation is that Seth Rogen will voice Pumbaa and Billy Eichner will be Timon. Those are pretty solid casting voices if you ask me.

Again, I don’t know how excited I am for this remake, I wasn’t into how CGI and fake ‘The Jungle Book’ remake was, so I’m not sure.

Then again I hate change, but really, why do you need to change a classic? That’s what I want to know.

Donald Glover Will Play Simba In Live-Action ‘Lion King’ Movie

Let me be clear, I am still not all on board for this ‘Lion King’ remake movie but maybe I have a little bit more hope than I had before. Anything that Donald Glover is in turns to gold, so maybe just maybe, it won’t be so bad.

The only thing that I can compare it to is the live-action ‘Jungle Book’ movie which was way too much CGI for my liking. I couldn’t even get through it because of all of the CGI.

We still don’t know much about when it will be released but the director Jon Favreau will probably give us the cast via Twitter.

Can’t wait to see who else is going to be added to the cast! So far we have Donald Glover and James Earl Jones will be reprising his role as Mufasa.

Donald Glover Rocks Brown On The 2017 Golden Globes Red Carpet!

Donald Glover always looks good, I am pretty sure that is something we can all agree on. He is just on another level with his talent and with his fashion choices.

As I was writing this, Donald’s show ‘Atlanta’ actually just won a Golden Globe for best comedy series! So congratulations to him and the rest of the cast!

I just want to say one thing, whether you call him Donald Glover or Childish Gambino I think that there is something we can both agree on. His talent is undeniable and I am so glad that he is getting the recognition that he deserves.

Keep coming up with incredible ideas and keep looking incredible.

Childish Gambino, Chance The Rapper, Lorde, & More Will Perform At The 2017 Governor’s Ball!

Whenever I see these music festival line ups happening I always hope that one of the creators will see my blog and think, we need her there. Simply because I am far too poor to be able to afford to go!

In other words, help me I’m poor.

Okay, back to the topic! The 2017 Governors Ball lineup is absolutely incredible. The headliners are Tool, Childish Gambino, Chance the Rapper, Pheonix, and in my opinion, Lorde is right up there at the top too.

Considering Lorde is performing at this and Coachella and I am praying that this means new music is on the way.

The festival this year starts on June 2 and ends June 4, 2017.

If you look at the lineup though  would guess that it will be 3 days of no sleeping.

Childish Gambino Performs “Redbone” On Fallon !

So I have learned the trick. I will call Donald Glover, Childish Gambino when he performing and then called him Donald Glover when he is on a red carpet or something. Okay, we can do this, we can get through this guys.

Last night the multi-talented singer/actor/rapper/director/comedian showed up on Fallon and performed his latest single “Redbone” shirtless. I mean I don’t really know why he performed shirtless and in leather pants but I will not complain about it.

Even if you aren’t a fan of the song I feel like you can still appreciate the level of vocal talent he uses along with the lyrics in the song.

This is Gambino’s world, we are just living in it.

Donald Glover Looks Dapper In Burgundy At The Critics’ Choice

Not many men can rock a porn mustache and a gold chain but make it look good. Well, Donald Glover can do it.

Whether you call him Childish Gambino or Donald Glover, we can all agree that he is one of the most incredible actors out there, right? Not only did he just put out an incredible album, he just won a Critics’ Choice Awards for his show ‘Atlanta’ which probably means that he will win a Golden Globe, that was just kind of how it goes.

Man Crush Monday : Donald Glover

Whether you know him as Donald Glover or Childish Gambino there is one thing you know about this guy. He is insanely talented. He is a talented actor, rapper, singer, and writer. This man is a visionary, that is something that I am totally sure of.

Donald is currently starring in ‘Atlanta’ which is one of the most talked about new series of the year. He isn’t just starring in it though, he created the damn thing and he is also a writer. Like I said, he is insanely talented in everything that he does. There is a lot of award buzz for the show, but it may be a little bit too new to be nominated, we will see.

He also had time to release a new album under his alter ego Childish Gambino. The critics are raving about it and from what I have listened it is on a whole new level of showing off his talents.

Obviously he is talented and was recently cast in the Han Solo movie, but there is something else that makes him MCM worthy. He is really, really handsome. Look at him. That smile, that jawline, his perfect facial hair, I could go on and on about how hot he is.

Happy Monday and I can’t wait to see more of Donald Glover, Childish Gambino, whatever you want to call him, because he is a visionary and he isn’t going anywhere any time soon!

Who Should’ve Replaced Lin-Manuel Miranda In ‘Hamilton’

So the creative genius that is Lin-Manuel is leaving the Broadway hit ‘Hamilton’ to probably go and write another absolute Broadway smash. It’s obvious that this show will be around for a long time and he probably doesn’t want to be completely tied down, which is understandable.

It has been announced that his replacement will be his understudy, Javier Munoz.  Munoz will officially start on July 11th as the title character.

Now, I am glad that the understudy is able to make it to the stage but there are a few people that I would have loved to see take the stage as Lin-Manuel’s replacement, at least for a short period of time.

Taye Diggs

Taye Diggs can sing, really well. He was in ‘Rent’, he was also in ‘Hedwig’, both on Broadway. He has the resume and he isn’t so bad to look at.

Donald Glover

Whether you call him Donald or Childish Gambino, I think that we can all agree that he is by far one of the most talented men in the business. He can rap, he can act, and he is so damn humble about it.

Drake

Personally, I know that Drake is a good actor. He was great on Degrassi and he can rap. He could pull off ‘Hamilton’ for sure. Drake also has zero street credit, so he could be on Broadway no issue.

Justin Timberlake

JT because, why not? I mean he can sing, he can dance, and he is one of the best entertainers of our time. He will absolutely go down at one of the best. Truthfully I am surprised he hasn’t really shown a serious interest in theater yet.

J. Cole

J.Cole would absolutely be my first choice to take over the spot for Lin-Manuel, I highly doubt that he would do it. J. Cole is a serious rapper and I couldn’t imagine him on a Broadway stage wearing tights, but I think it would be awesome. Everything that J does, he puts his heart and soul into. That would absolutely be my dream.

The Grammy’s 2015 Best Dressed Men List!

I did the list for the women so I might as well do it for the men as well right? Most people assume that men just wear the whole normal suit and tie thing, but you’re wrong. There are many different ways that men rock their suits, and some are good, some are bad. Let’s get right into it, shall we?

My personal top 5 for the night.

5. Nick Jonas

It’s always nice to see some kind of pattern on the carpet. This isn’t the best use of patterns but let’s be real, Nick Jonas can really do no wrong this year. This has been his year, absolutely perfect too.The pants are a little too tight, but hey, we can work with that. I like that he took a risk, and I believe that this risk ended up paying off.

4. John Mayer

Usually I am not a big fan of the huge stupid glasses, but somehow John pulled it off. I don’t know how but he did. Maybe it is simply because he was straight killing it on the guitar and it went right to my heart. I like that he didn’t go for the classic black suit, instead he went for blue and then it looks like some kind of checkered pants.

3. Julian Edelman

Clearly I am madly in love with Julian Edelman but he looks nice and suave right here, right? To me it almost looks like he is going to prom. His hand position makes him look all nervous, but still adorable. Again a suit that fits his body perfect. His haircut makes him look super sharp though, that is what gets to me.

2. John Legend

John looks perfect, just perfect. This suit is perfectly suited for him. I love that he didn’t feel the need to go with the tie. The whole grey colored suit has always gotten to me. Simple yet classic.

Well fun fact, Donald Glover didn’t smile once while on the red carpet, he made that grouchy face the entire time he walked down it. Other than the lack of happiness, I think that this is my favorite look. Everything from his hair to his loafers, just straight killing it.
