Is it weird that today my Man Crush Monday is 60 years old? Maybe. Do I actually care at all? Nope, I don’t care one bit.
Denzel Washington is someone who is forever handsome. That means that no matter how old he gets there will be something about him that just makes him so damn dreamy. Maybe it’s that smile,or the fact that he doesn’t even look like he’s aging much, or it could be his talent.
Last night Denzel won for Best Actor at the SAG Awards and it just reminded me of my love for him.
Honestly since I can remember Denzel has always been one of the most talented actors in Hollywood. He can play just about any role and he’s always the best in any movie. His talent is untouchable.
So there you have it. Today I made a 60 year old my Man Crush Honor, he is an Oscar winner but I think this may be his biggest accomplishment yet, right?
This morning the nominations for the Academy Awards were released and social media has been buzzing ever since. La La Land is in the lead with 14 nominations, which the movie deserves, it was something beautiful that’s for sure. Viola Davis breaks a record being the first African American woman to be nominated for 3 Oscars and Justin Timberlake received a nod for his “Can’t Stop The Feeling” hit from Trolls.
Also, just to clear up some confusion that seems to have taken place over time. The Academy Awards are sometimes called The Oscars, so they are kind of interchangeable, I am someone who does that and I apologize.
