Drake Shows Off ‘Degrassi’ Residual Check

Drake will always be Jimmy to me!

At this point even if you didn’t watch Degrassi, I am pretty sure that you’re aware Drake was on the show. He played a student who got shot and ended up in a wheelchair, from them Jimmy struggled to get a boner and a bunch of other stuff.

Never in a million years did I think he would number one, be super hot now and number two be one of the best selling artists in the world.

Obviously Drake remembers where he came from though. Last night he took to Instagram to show off his massive check from Degrassi.

Drake & Nina Dobrev Have A ‘Degrassi’ Reunion At The AMAs!

So tonight the AMAs happened but something even better happened. Drake won for best hip hop album and his former ‘Degrassi’ co-star Nina Dobrev presented him with the award. How amazing is that?

Personally I was a huge ‘Degrassi’ fan so this little reunion was everything. Drake even acknowledged that they were on ‘Degrassi’ together in his speech. So I give him props for remembering where he came from!

Man Crush Monday: Drake

I feel as though for years I have had an inner struggle on whether or not I find Drake attractive. When he first came out on ‘Degrassi’ I was not a fan, when he first started to rap, again I was not a fan then recently I watched The ESPY Awards and now, I am a fan. Drake is attractive and I am sorry it took me so long to admit that!

Drake is known for his smooth singing and smooth raps that are just absolutely out of this world. People can say whatever they would like about Drake, how he raps about break ups and love or whatever but it is absolutely amazing. He can actually take real life stuff and rap about it. Now don’t me wrong like most people I loved the song “YOLO” but when he puts together a song like “Take Care”, makes me weak in the knees!

I think that everyone can agree that Drake isn’t going anywhere any time soon. He will be making music for as long as he can and he has some longevity. Do I think that in ten years Two Chainz will be making music? Lord I hope not!

So Drake, thank you for that big ass smile, those gorgeous eyes, and your incredible voice. If you didnt catch it, Drake was always hilarious as an ESPY host which is what really made him my man crush Monday this week!

Drake and Rihanna: New Power Couple?

Oh Na Na, word on the street is that Drake and Rihanna are getting cozy again. To this I will shout from the rooftops how happy I am about this. Since I heard Drake say that Rihanna was good with them soft lips, I knew that they were meant to be. Well he sang those lyrics in a song but I assume that it is true. Anyway, I was shattered when she left him the first time for Chris Beatherdown Brown but this could be their shot! They allegedly spent about 10,000 at a strip club in Texas and left together at 5 a.m. Looks like wheelchair Jimmy doesn’t have any issues with anything anymore. If Drake and Rihanna get together it means more amazing collaborations between the two of them.

Honestly though I think think Drake is like Screech and Rihanna is like Lisa Turtle. Or that Rihanna is like Jackie while Drake is like Fex. The boy will pine over her for years and maybe, just maybe they will end up together. I won’t hold my breath though. In the mean time I will simply sing Oh Na Na and think of a couple name for these two. Drihanna? Rihake? Eh, that will take some time.
