Kevin Hart Tops Forbes’ Highest Paid Comedian List

For the past, well nearly 10 years Jerry Seinfeld has held the top spot of the Forbes’ highest paid comedian list. Well looks like that long streak has finally come to an end because of none other than Kevin Hart.

Let’s be real, Kevin is quickly becoming the annoying sidekick in every movie so he may not be there for a long time, but he is there for now! Last year he made a whopping $87.5 million dollars. Yes, that is a lot of zeros. Right?

It is interesting as to why or how Kevin has made so much money in the past year. Of course he has been in some seriously big movies, but also his tour. He doesn’t tour like many comedians out there. He instead tours stadiums and according to reports because he basically just needs a microphone, water bottle, and a stool, he makes more money than most music acts.

Good for you Kevin! Keep it going, but really, try and stop being the annoying sidekick. Please.

Kathy Griffin Has A New Book Coming Out!

So Kathy Griffin is by far one of my all time favorite comedians. She is someone who is very true to herself and her jokes are hysterical. Kathy is seriously one of the greatest female comedians of all time, I am very sure of that.

If you haven’t heard her stand up about running into different celebrities, I suggest you go on YouTube and look up literally anything. You will love it.

That is why I am excited for this book. I can only imagine how hysterical a lot of these will be. Kathy is someone who is always so honest, or seems honest about her stories with whatever celebrity. She has nothing to lose, she seems to actually love the fact that she is on the “D List” even though she is definitely an A list comedian.

The truth is that Kathy is one of the reasons I wanted to start this blog. I love to add humor to writing and her style of stand up really did inspire me. Kathy and Chelsea Handler are the reason Celebrities Are Tragic even started.

Man Crush Monday: Kevin Hart

I guess I should have called this one, Little Man Crush Monday, since our man of the day Kevin Hart stands at 5’4″. Height doesn’t really matter with this guy though. He is hilarious and can carry a movie on his shoulders! His recent movie ‘Ride Along 2’ took out Star Wars from the top spot at the box office! That is insanity!

Now the question I have, will Kevin Hart get played out? Probably but people will still love his stuff. He is hilarious, his stand up his beyond hilarious.

One thing that I can respect this man for is that he has worked and he worked hard. He had so many little roles (no pun intended), he would be on Chelsea Handler‘s round table, and he really just hustled to get where he is today. He is proof that hard work and determination will get you to where you need to be.

Watch Cecily Strong’s Remarks At The White House Correspondents Dinner!

First of all I love Cecily Strong, she is my favorite of the new wave SNL cast. I think that I have an official girl crush on her after watching this video. Let’s be real. She killed it. She made the room be uncomfortable for about 20 minutes, I mean that is my kind of girl.

Cecily you are hilarious and I hope that she comes out with a stand up special or something like that. That would make me very happy.

When I first saw this picture I thought, who is this skinny bitch? Know who it is? LISA LAMPANELLI!!! Like what in the fuck happened? How did this happen? Well obviously there was some kind of surgery but God damn. Hopefully this isn’t like when Jonah Hill got skinny then he lost all of his funniness. I can only pray that doesn’t happen. Seriously thought, holy shit right? I mean I am used to her talking about three black dicks in all of her holes but I can’t picture that now. Black men like big white women not skinny white women.
