Eminem & Justin Timberlake Help Raise Over $2 Million For Manchester Victims

I think that we can all agree that Justin Timberlake and Eminem are both superstars in their own right. They both have a ton of Twitter followers and their support behind something, like raising money for victims of the Manchester bombing, is a huge deal.

Well JT and Em collaborated in a way that wasn’t musical at all.

The two of them both tweeted links to a fundraiser that was set up to help both victims and families that were effected by the act of terror at the Manchester Arena.

After each of them shared out the link, there was a spike in donations and as of right now it is just over $2 million.

Of course we can’t just thank JT and Eminem for acting together and there are definitely many more celebrities tweeting out this same link, there was just such a spike after each artist posted it, you couldn’t ignore it.

Ariana Grande Will Perform Benefit Concerts In Manchester

Ariana Grande announced yesterday that she will in fact be returning to Manchester to put on a show to raise money for all of those who were affected due to the bombing that happened at her concert.

All I can say is that my opinion of Ariana has changed a lot. The way that she handled this horrible ordeal is truly incredible, she has done a beautiful job.

Yesterday she posted her first full length statement about the attack and it was beautifully written.

In her statement she praised her fans for coming together to show kindness and compassion.

She plans on headlining the event on June 3rd, much sooner than anyone expected.

So far there have been 22 deaths due to this horrific bombing and 60 injured.

This is definitely a classy thing for Ariana to do, there have also been reports that she will cover the costs of all funeral expenses of the 22 that lost their lives.

Tom Hardy Creates Fundraiser To Help Manchester Arena Victims

Tom Hardy, an actor that always plays an absolute badass but actually has a heart of gold. How sweet is that?

Well most people are aware that Tom is from England and the actor decided to try and help those who were affected by the bombing at the Manchester Arena earlier this week.

Hardy created a Just Giving crowdfunding  campaign and it has already hit roughly $30,000 since he created it.

On the site Hardy wrote a heartfelt note about the hateful acts that occurred.

“What happened last night at the AG concert in Manchester was a tragedy; families and children attacked and murdered; in a place where they should be safe and enjoying a concert. it is an inconceivable atrocity. There is no bringing back those who have been lost, pointlessly, in such a cowardly and brutal fashion. I am truly saddened by what I have witnessed and there is no doubt that Terrorism is an evil thing. ”

The actor continued by saying, “I hope between us we can raise some funds as a gesture of goodwill and love to help in some small way towards repairing some if any of the damage done in the wake of last nights events. There will be much to do and for many the beginning of a new life without those that they love and also a new life damaged irrevocably by the actions of a crime which has no reason, no heartfelt purpose but was simply a cruel cowardly and barbaric, meaningless act of violence. A road to recovery unimaginable.”

Chance The Rapper Donates $1 Million To Chicago Public Schools

Chance the Rapper seems like the ultimate good guy. Obviously I don’t know him at all but his music will take you to church, he has the best smile I have ever seen, and he loves his daughter. I hope I don’t jinx this but I think he could actually continue to be one of the most likable guys in Hollywood.

Today Chance announced that he would be donating $1 million to Chicago public schools after meeting with Illinois governor Bruce Rauner.

In a statement to Billboard, Chance said “While I am disappointed in Gov. Rauner, that will not stop me from doing all I can to support Chicago’s most valuable resource: its children”. Chance then added that his hefty donation was “made possible by my fans through ticket sales for my upcoming [Coloring Book] tour,” in partnership with AEG, Live Nation and Ticketmaster.

Right now Chance is only worried about taking care of the kids.

Miley Cyrus Cries While 8-Year-Old Cancer Patient Sings for Her

Miley and Liam wanted to spread some holiday cheer by visiting the Rady Children’s Hospital in California. The couple spent time taking selfies with many different patients along with laughing and getting to know them.

Miley is known for her charitable ways and said this visit was an important one to her. She on behalf of her Happy Hippie foundation which helps LGBT and homeless youth.

One stop seemed to have been a very emotional one for the singer, and for Liam.

Chris Pratt Donates $500,000 In Memory Of His Dad

It must be pretty awesome when you can donate an enormous gift in honor of your father to the town that raised you. Was that too wordy of a sentence? Maybe.

Chris Pratt donated $500,000 to the Lake Stevens club to make the Dan Pratt Memorial Teen Center, in memory of his father. The Lake Stevens club is associated with the Boys and Girls clubs of America.

“I was raised by one of the toughest SOBs on the planet. Dan Pratt made me who I am. He was a funny, thick skinned, hard working man who commanded respect for authority. My dad coached me and so many other kids in Lake Stevens in every sport and was a pillar of his community. He affected a lot of young men. Ask anyone who knew him, he was a certified bad ass. And now his memorial teen center will help keep kids out of trouble for many years to come. His legacy will live on” Chris said on his Facebook page.

Ryan Phillippe Offers To Help Families In Need This Holiday Season

I have to admit it, I love it when I see celebrities doing good! It is one of my favorite things in the world when someone has a platform and they use it for the right reasons.

This holiday season Ryan Phillippe has put out a pretty incredible offer. He wants people to email him about a family in need and he wants to help them out.That’s right. He has made an offer to help out families who may not be able to afford the big gift that their son or daughter is looking for.

Pretty impressive stuff if you ask me.

One thing that Ryan added was that he was aware that he could be scammed. A lot of people may email him just asking for random shit that they don’t want to spend money on but he is still willing to do it because this idea will probably change more than just one child’s Christmas.

Dolly Parton Promises $1000 A Month To Families Devastated By Tennessee Wildfires

I have to give country stars credit. Whenever something happens in Tennessee they always seem to be there to give a helping hand. I remember back when Nashville was flooded completely country singers all got together to raise money and help the community.

Right now Gatlinburg, TN is dealing with horrific wildfires that don’t seem to be settling down at all.  People are losing everything to these wildfires, entire towns wiped out, it is truly heartbreaking. So far 7 people are died and 45 have been injured, but they expect both of those numbers to climb over the next few days.

Dolly decided to step up and help the families though, putting together a website called My People so others can donate. She is putting together this fund to donate to the families for the next six months knowing they will need all the help that they can get.

On her website she explained that she would  use online donations and money from her foundation and her extensive business interests to provide for these families for six months.

“I have always believed that charity begins at home,” Dolly explained in her video. “And that’s why I’ve asked my Dollywood Companies — including the Dollywood Theme Park; the DreamMore Resort; my dinner theater attractions including Dixie Stampede and Lumberjack Adventure; plus my Dollywood Foundation to help me establish a ‘My People Fund.’ Dolly went on to explain, “And to recover, we want to make sure that the Dollywood Foundation provides $1,000 a month to all of those families that have lost their homes in the fires until they get back up on their feet. I know it has been a trying time for my people, and this assistance will help.”

Thank you for doing such great work Dolly. The people that have lost everything will absolutely appreciate anything I am sure of it.

Chris Pratt Shares Sweet Video of Son Jack, To Celebrate World Prematurity Day

Yesterday was World Prematurity Day and a lot of celebrities stepped up to talk about the cause. The charity March of Dimes raises money in order to help families that have premature babies and a lot of celebrities took their time out to send a shout out. Of course there are so many people to deal with premature newborns, and it is important to give them credit. It’s not an easy thing to deal with so it is important to talk about.

Lindsay Lohan Creates Shirt To Help Raise Money For Charity

Late last month Lindsay Lohan was filmed where she has some weird ass accent going on. Well, it looks like Lindsay wanted to do some good even though people gave her a ton of shit over it. Her explanation was that because she is learning different languages everything kind of mixed into one accent. I get it, whatever let Lindsay be.

In case you weren’t away Lindsay has been traveling to Turkey to meet with Syrian refugees and really spending time with them. Most people want to remember her as the party girl but there is obviously a lot more to her than just that.

In my opinion, Lindsay has come a very long way. Now she is getting her life together and bettering other people’s lives in the process.
