Today the Grammy awards were announced and it looks like it is going to be a tough fight for the award this year in certain categories! This year is the first year in a while that I have actually been excited for the nominations because there are a lot of artists that I truly believe have been over looked by the academy of music for a while now. Okay, I am mostly talking about Demi, but whatever.
A lot of people were wondering by Lady Gaga wasn’t nominated and it is because her album was released after the submission date, but don’t worry she will be nominated for at least one category next year. The submission dates for this year were Oct. 1st, 2015 – Sept. 30th, 2016.
As always I will put my predictions, I give myself two predictions, one for who I think will win and who I want to win. Who I want to win will be in italics and who I think will win will be in bold. I do this every year and I am usually wrong, so it’s fun. If I don’t know anyone in the category I will simply leave it blank!
I do think that both Beyonce and Adele will dominate this year, but the Grammys are always full of surprises.
