Chester Bennington Commits Suicide At 41

Today we have lost an absolute legend, Chester Bennington, the man who put every single emotion into all of his songs. In case you aren’t familiar with Chester, he was the lead singer of Linkin Park.

Over the years Chester has talked about his battle with depression and addiction.

According to TMZ, Chester hung himself at his home while his family was out of town.

This news comes on what would have been Chris Cornell’s 53rd birthday, someone who Chester was extremely close with. Back in May, Chester actually performed at Chris’ memorial service.

The band was even set to start a tour with Machine Gun Kelly, of course there has been no word on what will happen there. I would guess they could cancel but we will see. The band has yet to put out an official statement.

Truthfully this is a celebrity death that kind of hits very close for me and probably many other people. One of the great things about Linkin Park was their ability to make you feel. That simple, Linkin Park’s music makes you feel something. Hybrid Theory and Meteora were two albums that I could listen to each and every song on, never get sick of it.

‘Rob & Big’ Star Christopher ‘Big Black’ Boykin Dies At 45

It is sad to report that Big Black, from ‘Rob and Big’ fame has passed away at the age of only 45 years old.

Although there has been no official cause of death, many sites are reporting that it was in fact due to a heart attack.

Big was of course Rob’s bodyguard and best friend before tension caused the show to end abruptly.

The two eventually were able to clear the air and Big then appeared on a few episodes of ‘Fantasy Factory’.

Before becoming a reality show star, Big served in the Navy for nine years.

He leaves behind a nine year old daughter.

Comedian Charlie Murphy Dies After Leukemia Battle

Today is a sad day for the comedic world.

Comedian and actor Charlie Murphy lost his battle of leukemia today and passed away at the age of 57, so young.

Charlie is the big brother of superstar Eddie Murphy, but he has made a solid name for himself in the business. He was a very well respected stand up comedian and is perhaps best known for his role on ‘Chappelle’s Show’.

According to TMZ “he’d been going undergoing chemotherapy. Family members tell us they’re absolutely shocked because they thought he was getting better. ”

Charlie had even been starring on ‘Power’ and no one on set even knew he was sick.

Comedy Legend Don Rickles Dies At Age 90

Even if you had never seen anything that Don Rickles was in, one thing was for sure, you knew his name.

Don Rickles is one of those legends that will be around forever. He was known for hosting roasts, having his own show on ABC, and being apart of shows suck at ‘The Dick Van Dyke Show,’ ‘The Addams Family’ and ‘Gilligan’s Island.’

Thank you for the decades of laughter.

Don reportedly passed away after  kidney failure, his wife Barbara was by his side.

You will never be forgotten Don.

Rock ‘N’ Roll Legend Chuck Berry Dies At 90

Today rock ‘n’ roll lost a true legend. Chuck Berry passed away in his home just outside of St. Louis, at age 90.

So far the cause of death hasn’t been released.

Some of Chuck’s songs were “Johnny B. Goode,” “Roll Over Beethoven,” “Maybellene” along with many more songs. Through out the 50’s and 60’s he helped form the sound of rock ‘n’ roll.

Chuck was also famous for his duck walk that he would do during shows as he played guitar.

He was one of the first to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986, and Rolling Stone magazine ranked him 6th on its list of greatest guitarists of all time.

Actor Bill Paxton Dies At 61

Actor Bill Paxton who is known for starring in movies like ‘The Terminator’, ‘Titanic’, ‘Mighty Joe Young’, and of course ‘Twister’ has died today.

According to reports he died due to complications after a medical procedure.

The family released a statement saying:

“It is with heavy hearts we share the news that Bill Paxton has passed away due to complications from surgery. A loving husband and father, Bill began his career in Hollywood working on films in the art department and went on to have an illustrious career spanning four decades as a beloved and prolific actor and filmmaker. Bill’s passion for the arts was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth and tireless energy were undeniable. We ask to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their adored husband and father.”

Bill will be missed and I am sure that during the Oscars they will be sure to honor him.

TV Icon Mary Tyler Moore Dies At 80

Today reps of the television icon Mary Tyler Moore confirmed that the actress has passed away at the age of 80 years old. She passed away in a Connecticut hospital today following reports that she had been hospitalized.

Mary Tyler Moore’s longtime rep Mara Buxbaum issued a statement to TMZ stating.

“Today, beloved icon, Mary Tyler Moore, passed away at the age of 80 in the company of friends and her loving husband of over 33 years, Dr. S. Robert Levine.A groundbreaking actress, producer, and passionate advocate for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Mary will be remembered as a fearless visionary who turned the world on with her smile.”

She got her start on “The Dick Van Dyke Show” from 1961 to 1966.  She then made herself even more of a household name starring in “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” from 1970 to 1977.

Mary also has 7 Emmy awards of her own and wrote two memoirs during her time here.

I am sure we will see many tributes from other celebrities across the globe because of how influential she was in the entertainment world.

Debbie Reynolds Dies One Day After Daughter Carrie Fisher

Yesterday Carrie Fisher passed away and today her mother Debbie Reynolds has passed away. Debbie is of course a legendary actress starring in so many memorable roles. She has done everything from voice acting on the ‘Rugrats’ to musicals like ‘Singing In The Rain’.

Debbie reportedly suffered a stroke this morning, and she died at the hospital.You can say that the stroke took her but if you ask me, it could have been because of a broken heart.

Within 48 hours Carrie and Debbie have both passed away. Young upcoming actress Billie Lourd has lost both her mother and grandmother, my thoughts and prayers are with her.

2016, can you fuck off yet?

Iconic ‘Star Wars’ Actress Carrie Fisher Dies At 60

I have said it once, I will say it a million times. The year 2016 has fucking sucked, there I said it!

Two days ago we lost George Michael, today the iconic actress Carrie Fisher passed away. On December 23rd, Carrie suffered a massive heart attack on a flight back from London and reports say that she never improved from that. She was placed on a ventilator and this morning her heart simply stopped beating.

Carrie was in London promoting her new book “The Princess Diarist” , where she opened up about her affair with Harrison Ford, addiction, and more.

She leaves behind her daughter Billie Lourd and her beloved dog Gary who she always traveled with.

In reality, Carrie Fisher was an icon for many reasons. The first one in my opinion was that she proved that women can be heroes too. She played a female hero which is still hard to find to this day. She was also very open with her personal issues and she seemed to be overcoming them.

Thank you for all you did Carrie, you will be missed.

George Michael Dies At Age 53

George Michael is known for having faith and wanting to be woken up before you go, go. Unfortunately today, on Christmas, he passed away peacefully at his home. That was all that his publicist said about the singers passing.

He gained fame by being in the group WHAM followed by having his own successful solo career.
