Scott Eastwood Officially Joins ‘Fast 8’

It’s hard to put into words how excited I am for the next Fast & Furious. To me, the series is so much more than just a franchise. It’s a legacy. These great actors who have been in it together for so long have become a family. I absolutely can’t wait to join it.

Now I can’t say too much, but I get to play a new character who operates under Kurt Russell in the movie, which is incredible, because Kurt was a total childhood hero of mine growing up. Very much looking forward to learning a thing or two from such an original and cool guy.

Paul was a close friend of mine. We surfed together, traveled together, and he was a huge role model and influencing figure in my life when I was younger. He still is. He was an older brother to me. For me to be able to add to the F&F story, Paul’s story, and the FAST family is like a dream come true.

Gary Gray and Neal Moritz – I can’t wait to get started and dive in. Vin – thank you for the support and the insight.
Paul – I am going to make you proud.

So I can’t even lie, I got a little bit emotional reading that, I mean he was close with Paul and now he is joining a movie that Paul should have been a part of.

In reality I don’t think that it is cool that they will be making another installment of this movie due to Walker’s untimely death but hey, Hollywood is about money and this movie will definitely be making money. They just recently announced Charlize Theron was going to play the villain and now adding the newest hottest actor in Hollywood to the cast? All smart moves by casting, I have to applaud them.

You know I have to admit, Scott is coming in really hot and I don’t think he is really riding on his father’s coattails either. I give him credit for waiting a bit before starting a movie career.

Are you excited for ‘Fast 8’?

Chris Evans & Jared Leto Could Be Starring In Film Adaptation Of ‘The Girl On The Train’

Jared Leto and Chris Evans are reportedly circling roles in the upcoming film The Girl on the Train, based on the best-selling novel of the same title!

Emily Blunt, Rebecca Ferguson andHaley Bennett are already signed on for the cinematic adaptation of the popularPaula Hawkins book.

Chris would play Tom, the ex husband of Emily‘s character. Jared would play the husband of Haley‘s character, THRreports. The one snafu of this amazing casting news could be scheduling, because both actors are extremely busy with upcoming projects. (credit)

I have yet to this book but I do plan to before the movie comes out. I mean the fact that Emily Blunt has signed up, and let’s be real her career is on a real hot streak at the moment. Then these two as leading men? Well this is something I can get behind. So much beauty in one film.

Considering they already mentioned it may no happen due to busy schedules kind of bums me out. Why even put this idea in my head? Why even give me the idea that these two could potentially be in a movie? Know why? They want us to get sucked in already. The producers and whoever else want us to get ready for this movie and by saying these two hotties are going to be in it, well it just makes us want to go and see it even more!

I am onto you producers, directors, and whoever else is involved in this. You can’t get by me!

Seriously though let me know what you think of this potential casting and if I should read the book here.

Benjamin McKenzie Returns To Fox For Batman Prequel!

Image

Benjamin McKenzie is returning to the network that made him famous.

The O.C. alum has been tapped to play eventual Batman ally James Gordon in the new Gotham pilot, TVGuide.com has learned.

The drama, which has a series commitment at Fox, explores the origin stories of the man who would go on to be Gotham’s future commissioner and his battle with the villains who made the city famous. In the project, Gordon is a former war hero-turned-detective with the Gotham City Police Department. Driven to live up to the virtues of a father he barely knew, the brave and honest detective backs up his naïve ideals with action.

Since his days on The O.C., McKenzie has starred on Southland before being cast on The Advocates, last year’s failed CBS drama pilot from Mentalist creator Bruno Heller. Heller will write and executive-produce Gotham with Nikita‘s Danny Cannon. Coincidentally, McKenzie voiced Batman in the DC original animated movie Batman: Year One, also a Batman origin story.

Gordon, who was initially introduced by DC Comics in 1939, was most recently played by Gary Oldman in the Dark Knight trilogy. (http://www.seattlepi.com/entertainment/tv/tvguide/article/Gotham-Casts-Southland-s-Benjamin-McKenzie-as-5217546.php)

Benjamin McKenzie is easily one of the sexiest men to ever be on the small screen, you can’t disagree with that at all. Right? He played Ryan Atwood, probably the sexiest character of the early 2000’s. He got his start on The O.C. then graduated to Southland and now he is going to be playing Detective Gordon on a new Fox pilot.

Fox is clearly doing some real rebooting since American Idol is tanking and X-Factor got cancelled. It is time for them to bring some great shows back. I mean it used to be insanely good with Malcolm in the Middle, That 70’s Show, The O.C., it is time for a reboot and why not sign one of the greats back?

Benjamin McKenzie you are one sexy man and I hope that this show does amazing. I think that this could be another great show that he has been apart of. I am not a huge comic book fan but I will watch this simply because of Benjamin McKenzie.

Jesse Eisenberg Will Play Lex Luthor In The Up Coming ‘Man Of Steel’ Sequel.

Image

Please give me a moment while I shutter in utter disgust that Jesse Eisenberg is going to be in another movie. I mean really, why do people cast him in stuff? He is nothing but a short little pompous asshole, sorry was that too harsh? Whatever, over it.

Really though they are putting him next to fucking Henry Cavill? Really? Is that a smart thing to do? They had already put him next to David Franco who every single girl is obsessed with. They also put him next to Justin Timberlake, and we all know how women feel about him. Maybe he was cast because of his unfortunate voice. I can’t wait to see his villain laugh though, every one has a crazy laugh. Jesse is just the fucking worst though, it physically pains me to watch movies with him in it.

I guess that Lex Luthor was a real weirdo so maybe that is why he got cast in the role. I just always figured that Lex would be tall and weird, thanks for Smallville that is all I envision for him.

Anyway, I guess I can’t hate on Jesse too much since he makes way more money than I ever will. I just think that they could have picked a way better Lex, what ever happened to Bryan Cranston being Lex Luthor, wasn’t that a thing once?
