Machine Gun Kelly Shows Off Vulnerable Side On New Track “Let You Go”

Image may contain: 1 person, indoor

Machine Gun Kelly is definitely one of the most versatile artists out there right now.

He can rap, he can sing, he plays guitar, and he also acts. He is just such a breath of fresh air that I think the music world needed. Most people know that MGK has been out there hustling for a long time now and I am so glad that he is finally getting the radio plays.

Usually he raps though and this song? It’s just so different.

It almost reminds me of old school Blink 182 or maybe even Weezer, I’m sure both influenced this sound.

MGK took to Twitter to explain the meaning of this song and his passion for playing guitar!

Check out the song below and let me know what you think!

Blink-182 Celebrate Their First Grammy Nomination !

When I first heard that Blink-182 hadn’t been nominated for a Grammy before this year, I thought that I had to be wrong. There was no way that they have made so many smash hits without being recognized. Well, believe it people because it is true. They have made smash hits like “What’s My Age Again”, “Adam’s Song”, “Stay Together For The Kids”, and have never been nominated, until now.

Their newest album California, finally earned them a Grammy nod, and I hope that they win. I really do. These guys are icons, even with Tom gone from the band, they are still working their asses off and making great music.

Mark Hoppus is out of his mind excited and I don’t blame him one bit.

Congrats guys! I hope you win!

The Grammy Nominations 2017 Have Been Revealed!

grammy-logo

Today the Grammy awards were announced and it looks like it is going to be a tough fight for the award this year in certain categories! This year is the first year in a while that I have actually been excited for the nominations because there are a lot of artists that I truly believe have been over looked by the academy of music for a while now. Okay, I am mostly talking about Demi, but whatever.

A lot of people were wondering by Lady Gaga wasn’t nominated and it is because her album was released after the submission date, but don’t worry she will be nominated for at least one category next year.  The submission dates for this year were Oct. 1st, 2015 – Sept. 30th, 2016.

As always I will put my predictions, I give myself two predictions, one for who I think will win and who I want to win. Who I want to win will be in italics and who I think will win will be in bold. I do this every year and I am usually wrong, so it’s fun. If I don’t know anyone in the category I will simply leave it blank!

The Chainsmokers Reveal What Blink 182 Song They Beat To Death In Tuscon

Image result for the chainsmokers and halsey

As everyone knows, “Closer” by The Chainsmokers featuring Halsey has been one of the biggest songs of the summer, in my opinion probably the year. You can’t go wrong with this song, it is just the perfect bop. A lot of it is relatable, about that love that you let go and kind of hate yourself for letting them go.

One of the lyrics that everyone loves to scream sing is “play that Blink 182 song that we beat to death in Tuscon”, so what song is it? I had been thinking about that since the day the song was released. Blink has so many good songs that you could potentially beat to deal.

Drew, the male vocalist in The Chainsmokers took to Twitter to answer that question!

So there you have it! Either one would be good and I would definitely beat to death in Tuscon too!

Real question, how do you steal a mattress, that is something I would like to know more about.

Man Crush Monday: Travis Barker

Travis Barker is hot, I don’t care what anyone has to say about that. He is a talented musician covered in tattoos but he has these soft baby blue eyes that you just have to love. I have had a thing for him since at least 99, which means that his hotness stands the test of time.

This past week Blink 182, released their new album and they are going on a summer tour, so that’s pretty awesome.  I love a band that can last, it is always impressive to me when music can last the stand of time, also they went with making music without Tom Delonge, which is absolutely nuts, but hey! It works though!

Happy Monday! Go check out the new Blink, and thank me later!

Travis, continue to add tattoos and continue to be a skinny hottie.

For the record, I think that Travis Barker and Carey Hart are the only two men who can pull off neck tattoos

Blink-182 Releases New Song And Announced Summer Tour!

blink-182-tour-2016-all-american-rejects-all-time-low

I will say that the only thing that bums me out about this new tour and song, and well album as well is that Tom Delonge has been replaced. If you remember he kind of went off the deep end for a bit talking about aliens and different things, according to Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker, he also wasn’t on board for any new music, so the band had to move on without him. Tom was replaced by  the lead singer of Alkaline Trio, Matt Skiba, who kind of sounds a lot like Mark Hoppus, so it’s a little weird.

Anyway, the song is called ‘Bored To Death’ and I get a very +44 vibe from it, but it isn’t a bad thing. I do enjoy the song, I just miss Tom’s voice.

I am happy that Blink-182 is back though, they just make me happy.

Travis Barker & Rita Ora Are Hollywood’s Newest Couple!

Okay well I thought that Rita Ora was dating Wiz Khalifa or some shit, but now she is dating fucking Travis Barker? Well I did not see that one coming. I swear this girl has no type. She has gone from Rob Kardashian to Calivin Harris to ASAP Rocky (allegedly) to some dude named Ricky Hilfiger to apparently Travis Barker?

That list of her past relationships looks like a season of Surreal Life or some VH1 show in 20 years.

I want to sit Rita down and just talk to her. In my opinion Rita has one of the best voices out there. She can sing and she is gorgeous but people focus on her long list of ex lovers. I mean her and Calvin broke up and he basically ruined her what should have been smash hit ‘I Will Never Let You Down’ but let’s not get into that.

This couple is one of the most random couples I have ever heard about in my life. I mean this is up there with Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden.

Travis Barker is a hottie though, he isn’t exactly my type but there is something about him. Now he is no Carey Hart, but he is definitely a good looking dude covered in tattoos. But if we were playing marry, fuck, kill with all the members of Blink-182, he would be the one I would kill. I would marry Mark Hoppus in case you were wondering.

I give this couple two months before they break up. They have been together for like a week apparently and they are already saying what they love about each other. I guess Hollywood really is like high school.
