A few months ago, Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz son Egypt composed his first song called “Super Boy” and now it’s pretty obvious that both of their children have insane musical ability.

It looks like Egypt’s younger brother Genesis wanted to get in on the family music talents.Genesis, who is 2-years-old showed off his beatboxing skills to his dad Swizz and luckily, Swizz posted it to Instagram.

Let’s be real, both of these kids are going to be mega producers. We might as well give them both Grammys before they are 10 because that’s the direction that they are heading in.

All that musically enhanced DNA, you knew that these kids were going to be insanely talented.

What did we do to deserve a talent like Alicia Keys? I mean seriously, when she was only 19 she came out with her mega-hit “Fallin” and after that it was history. In my opinion Alicia will go down at one of the best female musicians to ever live. A lot of people can sing, many can play piano, and some can write but not all can do those three things the way that Alicia can do it, that’s something I am sure of.

So happy birthday.

As a birthday girl, Alicia actually gave back to us. She released a new song called “That’s What’s Up” which is a song that show off her absolutely insane vocal range.

Sometimes you just need to hear Alicia Keys do her thing and in this song, she does the damn thing.

Celebrities React to Dakota Access Pipeline Decision

In case you’ve been living under a rock or just not paying attention to the news there have been peaceful protests at Standing Rock for months now. The protests started off small but due to social media more and more people started to show up and stand up against corporate greed.

Native Americans have been fighting against the pipeline since it would go through their main drinking water, making it unsafe.

Now it is time to celebrate though. No more protesting, just dancing in celebration.

“The US Army Corps of Engineers will not grant permission for the Dakota Access Pipeline to cross Lake Oahe, the hotspot of massive protests of water protectors, the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe said in a statement, adding that alternative routes are now being studied.” (credit) .

Maybe celebrities have been vocal about the issue and many have also stood on the front lines to protest.

Watch Alicia Keys & Swizz Beatz’s Son Egypt Sing His First Original Song!

When Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz got together, I knew that their future children were going to be insanely talented. Alicia is one of my favorite female vocalists and Swizz is one of the best producers of all time. So with that DNA, you know that something great has to come from it.

Swizz posted a photo of their son Egypt singing his first original piece called “Super Boy”. This kid is only 6 and writing his own songs along with their melody? Alright, I see you little prodigy.

Of course this isn’t a full song or anything but I give this kid credit. It doesn’t sound bad and he can kill it on the piano.

We will definitely be seeing him bringing home a Grammy some day. Yup, I just jumped that far in the future!

Oh Alicia Keys, you are potentially the best singer of our generation but you don’t get nearly enough praise. Considering most people are in blended families, I think that this song is so beautiful and kind of needed to be told? Two families becoming one is something beautiful.

Lin-Manuel Is Releasing The Hamilton Mixtape Featuring Nas, Usher, Sia, & More!

Yes, I am one of those people who will always tell you to listen to the Hamilton soundtrack and then talk about how it changed my life while making me love musicals more. Yes, that’s me. Hello.

Well today, Lin-Manuel announced that he is releasing a mixtape featuring an incredible amount of talented singers.

So, I have listened to this album on repeat for the past five months or so, I know every line, and I am ready for this. Here I can listen to all of the incredible songs but with new vocalists? Count me in!

The only other place I can picture Ashanti, Kelly Clarkson, and Busta Rhymes being on the same album would be a “Now That’s What I Call Music” album, right?

It will be available for preorder tomorrow and will officially go on sale December 2nd.

Why Are People Mad That Alicia Keys Decided To Go Makeup Free At The VMAs?

Why are people mad at Alicia Keys right now? No, seriously, why are people mad at her? Oh, you mean they are mad because a natural beauty decided to go natural at an awards show? Get a fucking life people.

Apparently there are people out there who are actually upset that Alicia decided to not wear make up. Just so everyone knows, Alicia Keys put out a statement a while back about how she was done wearing make up because she wanted to embrace being herself. She didn’t say that wearing makeup was bad, she isn’t anti makeup. She has just decided that she doesn’t want to wear it anymore.

Anyone who has an issue with this needs to take a fucking seat.

Alicia has absolutely nothing to prove to haters. She is one of the greatest singers of our time, she is one of the greatest songwriters, and she is beautiful. It’s not saying that people who wear makeup are ugly, it’s simply saying that she has chosen to embrace the art of not wearing make up. After being told for so long she has to look a certain way, she is taking the reigns.

I am all about this look, you go Alicia. Show off those freckles, don’t hide your “flaws”. You know what? We should be applauding her for being comfortable in her own skin to no longer wear make up. I think it is a pretty ballsy move if you ask me.

Alicia Keys’ ‘Fallin’ Went Number One 15 Years Ago Today!

There are certain songs that stick with you. ‘Fallin’ by Alicia Keys is absolutely one of those songs for me. Alicia Keys is one of the most musically talented women on this planet, that is something that I am absolutely sure of.

Alicia was only 20 when she put this song out. During a time when pop music ruled, Alicia put out a soulful song accompanied by a music video where she wasn’t showing off her body. I am not saying that there is anything wrong it, this was just when Christina and Britney ruled the radio and TRL countdown, and being sexy was their thing.

Since Alicia put out this song she has put out a ton of other hits. ‘No One’, ‘My Boo’, ‘Girl On Fire’, ‘A Woman’s Worth’, and I could keep going on and on. She will also be appearing on this upcoming season of “The Voice” which I am excited to see. Alicia’s voice is out of this world and like I said, she is just talented all around. She sings, plays instruments, and writes her own stuff, you can’t deny talent.

In a world where there seemed to be a million people trying to be the next Britney, thank you for deciding to be the first Alicia.

Dear world, Alicia Keys is back and nothing else matters. I had a feeling since she will be a new judge on ‘The Voice’ that she was coming out with new music and it’s here, finally! If you can believe it, it has been a long four years since Keys released ‘Girl On Fire’ so it has been a while.

This song gives me some major summer vibes. Of course I want her powerful, soulful songs but there is nothing wrong with a fun song every once in a while. This song reminds me of Drake’s ‘Take Care’ which is a song that will never get old to me.

I personally like it, I think that her new album will be amazing because Alicia Keys is perfection.
