Halle Berry Looks Incredible On The 2017 Oscars Red Carpet

If you can believe it, it has been 15 years since Halle Berry became the first black woman to win an Oscar. That’s right, it took that long which is kind of insane to think about.

Tonight, Halle stepped up her game, that is for sure. I mean, she hasn’t aged at all in the past twenty years but she looks beyond beautiful. The dress, the hair, everything about it is absolutely perfect.

Who is she wearing? I have no idea. I just know that she looks stunning!

Even though Natalie Portman is nominated for her incredible performance in ‘Jackie’, it looks like the very pregnant actress will not be attending tomorrow night’s ceremonies.

In a statement to People, Natalie said “Due to my pregnancy, I am unable to attend the Independent Spirit Awards and the Academy Awards,I feel so lucky to be honored among my fellow nominees and wish them the most beautiful of weekends.”

The 35 year old actress is currently expecting her second child with her husband Benjamin. This little bundle of joy will join her son Adelph who is five years old.

Brie Larson Hugged Every Sexual Assault Survivor Leaving the Stage At The Oscars

As if you needed another reason to love Brie Larson, here is reason number 300.

Last night after Gaga’s moving performance where she brought out survivors of sexual abuse, Brie hugged each and everyone on that walked off of the stage. Of course everyone stood up, clapped, then cried but Brie was the only one to hug each and every one of them.

Brie deserved the win. Brie for president.

Best Dressed Women Of The 2016 Oscars!

As usual I had a little help from my favorite twins Emily and Hannah when it came to fashion. I did a few posts about what I liked but I really have no idea about fashion. That is why I let these two girls take the reigns!

5.Priyanka Chopra in Zuhair Murad

This was her first time at the Oscars and this dress was beautiful. Simple, yet elegant. We loved the sheer white fabric with flower embroidery. Her hair was perfectly pulled back into a low ponytail and her jewelry was also very simple. This was a beautiful gown for a presenter, well done!

4. Rachel McAdams in August Getty Atelier

Again, another emerald number that we died over. Her newly platinum locks complimented the dress so perfectly. We loved the high neckline and the slit. She showed the perfect amount of skin for an occasion like this. She kept it simple with her jewelry and shoes.  We were hoping for a Notebook reunion, but were let down. It could have happened.

3. Jennifer Garner in Atelier Versace

Wow. This is how you show up to the Academy Awards. Everything was beautiful. We loved the silhouette of the dress. Because the top of her dress had some embellishment, she opted for simple earrings and bracelets and it was a smart move.  She is a pro.  She was the perfect picture of Hollywood glamour. If she ran into Ben at the after parties, we are assuming he is kicking himself.

2.Saoirse Ronan in Calvin Klein

She wanted to wear the color green to represent Ireland and make them proud. Mission accomplished. This dress was perfect for her because it was custom made. Each sequin was hand sewn individually, they deserve and Oscar, lets be real. She perfectly paired her stunning emerald drop earrings to go with the dress. This whole award circuit she is a fan of the fairy tale dresses and last night she gave us some edge and we have to say she can do both. Her hair and makeup were beautiful. Not many updos last night and we loved it.

1.Brie Larson in Gucci

Everything about this dress was perfection. The deep blue was the perfect color. A big red carpet trend we have seen all season was jewel tones and this was it. The embellished belt was perfect and because of that, she kept her hair, makeup and jewelry very simple and it complimented the whole look. The minute we saw her on the red carpet, our jaws dropped. This was the dress to win in and she won. Not only will her role be remembered, but this dress and how damn humble she is. Congrats girl!

Bet let’s be real, these two were the real winners of the red carpet!

And with that, award shows are all done! Great season, until next year!

Nick Jonas Suits Up For The 2016 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

demi lovato wilmer valderrama nick jonas vanity fair oscar party 08

Nick Jonas always looked good when he suits up. I mean suits up, not wears a turtle neck to an award show, I am not sure if I will ever forgive him for that look. Okay, okay I will.

Nick showed up at the party with his good friend Demi Lovato who came with her longtime boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama.

The Vanity Fair party is the place to be on Oscars night, everyone knows that. Most celebrities end up there, or at least start their partying there.

Anyway Nick, looking good as ever. No word on whether or not he left with his rumored girlfriend Kate Hudson.

Leonardo DiCaprio Finally Wins Academy Award

It’s been 84 years…… Well not really but it feels that way, right? It finally happened, Leo finally won the Oscar that he has deserved for so many years. ‘The Revenant’ was truly a great movie and he deserves all of the praise that he has received for his performance in it.

During his speech he made sure to bring up global warming, which is of course one cause he is very passionate about, and has been passionate about for some time now.

Never let go now Leo, it may be another 20 years.

Also let’s talk about this comparison that was on Tumblr, try not to cry.

Lady Gaga Gives Powerful Performance At The 2016 Oscars Singing ‘Till It Happens To You’

Thank you Lady Gaga for this performance. Thank you to the survivors who have had to deal with people doubting your pain, thank you for coming out and staying strong.

This performance brought the room to tears and to their feet.

There are truly no words to how moving the performance was, the song, the everything.

Abuse is not a joke. Victim blaming is an absolute atrocity that happens far too often.

Tom Hardy Walks The Oscars Red Carpet With Wife Charlotte Riley

Do you ever get sad that Tom Hardy is married? I do too. He is one of the best looking men out there and here is he, getting married and being happy. Why would he do that? That is so selfish!

Okay, these two look absolutely adorable on the red carpet and I actually think that they are a beautiful couple.

I hope Tom brings the award home tonight, he deserves the award! I swear he is one of the best actors out there and doesn’t always get the attention that he deserves!

Is it weird my favorite part of his outfit is the little chain hanging from his waist? I love it.
