Mariah Carey’s New Year’s Eve Performance Was The Ending 2016 Deserved

Mariah Carey had a moment in Times Square while performing for New Years Rockin Eve. Unfortunately this wasn’t some private gig or anything, she was on the world’s stage and well, her performance was a hot ass mess.

It was clear that something went wrong, who knows what it was, whether it was the sound or whether it was Mariah, we may never know!

As Mariah started to sing “Auld Lang Syne” the sound that came over the speakers was actually “Fantasy” one of her all time biggest hits. She then let the crowd know that she couldn’t ear, you could see her struggling with her earpiece.

After “Emotion” started to play and Mariah just gave up. She couldn’t hear and just strutted around the stage letting the crowd know that they didn’t have a soundcheck or anything like that. She then just told the crowd to sing her song. It was really just very weird to see.

Let me be clear about something though. Everyone is giving Mariah shit for lip-syncing but when singers do big performances like this, they usually have some type of backtrack behind him. It is a huge open area, they need to have a backtrack. It is just how it works.

I give her credit for staying on the stage though. Clearly there was something technically wrong but she just walked around, talked to the crowd.

I am praying for whoever messed it up though because you know Mariah probably killed them. No one makes Mariah look bad, only Mariah makes Mariah look bad!

For the record, 2016 didn’t deserve a good performance by Mariah. The year was a fucking mess and so was one of the headlining performances.

America, we deserved that awful performance.

Mariah did have the perfect response to the messiness too.

The Chainsmokers Bring Out Backstreet Boys During Their Biggest Show Ever!

I have said a lot of things about The Chainsmokers this year, and I won’t take it back, but I will say that this is a really awesome move. If you have even kind of kept up with this blog you’re aware that I love the Backstreet Boys. So any time any other group wants to bring them out on stage, or whatever, I am all about it!

Last night The Chainsmokers performed at their biggest venue yet. They had their first solo show at Los Angeles Convention Center and have been teasing the set list for a while now. Did anyone think they would bring out the legendary Backstreet boys? Absolutely not.

They also brought out Big Sean but let’s be real. Backstreet Boys all day!

Miley Cyrus Cries While 8-Year-Old Cancer Patient Sings for Her

Miley and Liam wanted to spread some holiday cheer by visiting the Rady Children’s Hospital in California. The couple spent time taking selfies with many different patients along with laughing and getting to know them.

Miley is known for her charitable ways and said this visit was an important one to her. She on behalf of her Happy Hippie foundation which helps LGBT and homeless youth.

One stop seemed to have been a very emotional one for the singer, and for Liam.

Drake & J.Lo Were Spotted Kissing & Dancing At A Prom Night Party

So right now we are supposed to believe that Drake and J.Lo are a thing. It is a marketing thing, at least I think it is because they are reportedly making music together. Why not get the press talking before releasing a smash hit, right? That is how I think of it at least.

There’s nothing wrong with it either! It’s how the fame game works. Everything is to manipulate the media and have people eating out of your hands.

Anyway, last night the couple attended a fake prom. Considering I hated prom at 17, I feel like I would also hate it at 47, but then again I am not J.Lo. The reported couple danced the night away and even shared a few kisses.

Again it is confirmed that they are working on music together but there’s nothing wrong with ringing in 2017 with a bang, right?

Watch Elton John Perform Emotional Tribute Dedicated To George Michael

Elton John and George Michael l had been great friends for many years before George’s passing earlier this week. The two of them had shared the stage together and even off stage spent a lot of time together.

As most people know George passed away this week due to heart failure and Elton had already taken to Twitter to say how much he will miss his friends. He is also performing at George’s funeral and last night he dedicated a song to the late singer.

The legendary singer opened his Las Vegas show with “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me”, a song that he sang with George on stage.

It was clear that Elton was emotional but the show must go on.

Kimberly J. Brown Writes Touching Tribute To Debbie Reynolds

If you were a kid in the 90’s there was one thing that you loved, Disney channel original movies. There are a few that I remember like ‘Brink’ and ‘The Color Of Friendship’ but there is one that seemed to outshine them all. ‘Halloweentown’ was one of the best Disney channel original movies and I think most people would agree.

The movie starred Kimberly J Brown who was in many Disney Channel original movies, and the legendary Debbie Reynolds. Debbie played the grandmother who loved magic and all things Halloween.

Today, Debbie took to Facebook to write an emotional tribute to her on screen grandmother.

What do you say about a woman who had such an impact on your life both professionally and personally?

Debbie lived her life like all of us should, to the fullest. She was bold, funny, and had the biggest heart.
Her sparkly smile warmed every room she was in, and her jokes about her amazing career and life would make your stomach hurt with laughter.
Making people happy through her performing was her favorite thing to do, and she showed me at a young age what a gift it is to be able to do that for people. She was so talented and wise, which easily could have gone to her head, but instead she went out of her way to help others shine as brightly as they could. She’d try to move huge ladders on set just to help the crew, and looked out for every actor no matter the size their role. Her humility, grace, and care for others inspired me so much as a teen and is something that will always stay with me.

“Being normal is vastly overrated” is a quote from “Halloweentown,” and how fitting it is that her character spoke it. Her generosity, talent, and loving spirit made her anything but normal. Thanks for the magic, Debbie. Rest in peace. (credit)

Britney Spears & Sam Asghari Are Totally Dating

After the video came out there were rumors that Brit and Sam were dating. He posted this picture on his Instagram but then quickly deleted it. It was shady and weird but whatever.

Britney and Sam met while filming the “Slumber Party” music video and apparently sparks flew on set. In the video Sam was supposed to be the human representation of Satan or some shit, but I couldn’t really pick up on any of that since I was just staring at his beautiful features. Those eyes, that stubble, and that jawline, is there anything better?

The two have yet to confirm that they are dating but let’s be real. They are dating.

Get it girl.

TMZ caught the couple getting some BBQ yesterday and according to their sources, the couple is serious.

If that wasn’t enough, Sam shared a photo of the two in bed on Christmas Eve.

Again, get it girl.

Debbie Reynolds Dies One Day After Daughter Carrie Fisher

Yesterday Carrie Fisher passed away and today her mother Debbie Reynolds has passed away. Debbie is of course a legendary actress starring in so many memorable roles. She has done everything from voice acting on the ‘Rugrats’ to musicals like ‘Singing In The Rain’.

Debbie reportedly suffered a stroke this morning, and she died at the hospital.You can say that the stroke took her but if you ask me, it could have been because of a broken heart.

Within 48 hours Carrie and Debbie have both passed away. Young upcoming actress Billie Lourd has lost both her mother and grandmother, my thoughts and prayers are with her.

2016, can you fuck off yet?
