Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood Perform ‘Something Bad’ At CMT Awards

Image

Right now in country music it seems like men are at the top of it while women just kind of pop in and out. With big male names like Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, and Luke Bryan just to name a few, it seems like not many women have been able to get to the top of the charts. That is just as of right now, not in the past but if last nights CMT Awards proved anything, it was that women were going to take back the country throne.

Last night two country powerhouses Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood took the stage to perform their newest duet ‘Something Bad’ and won the night. In my personal opinion it was the absolute best performance of the night and it seems like the two of them actually get along. This isn’t like the show Nashville, nope, it is a friendship not a rivalry.

With these two incredible voices this song is bound to blow up and potentially be one of the best songs of the summer, just my opinion I guess.

In case you haven’t heard the song the lyric video is posted below!

Grumpy Cat Crushes The MTV Movie Awards Red Carpet

Image

Grumpy Cat absolutely crushed the red carpet this years. I really don’t think that anyone would want to fight me in that issue either. I mean look at Grumpy, look at him! Or her? I don’t know what gender this cat is but it doesn’t matter! Grumpy killed the red carpet. Just killing it with a frown for days and a Pharrell hat, that is absolutely perfect.

Congrats Grumpy! I hope you are on every single red carpet for the rest of eternity because I think that you outwardly express how all of these celebrities feel on the inside knowing most of them will never get nominated for an Oscar.

Rita Ora Strips Zac Efron At The MTV Movie Awards

Image

God bless Rita Ora! That is how so many people are feeling right now after Zac Efron won for best shirtless scene. For those of you who don’t know Zac promised that if he was to win the award, he would accept it shirtless. That had to be why he won, right? I mean who would ever put him over Chris Hemsworth, people wanted to see Zac shirtless!

So when Zac went up there he got all shy and went back on his promise. He wasn’t going to take his shirt off so Rita decided to give the crowd what we all wanted. She ripped off Efron’s shirt and the whole world gasped at the same time. Look at how perfect this man is, look at that body. I think he needs to bulk up but then again I think he is perfect. Greek God status right there!

Thank you Rita Ora because we all know Zac wouldn’t actually accept it shirtless. Thank you for ripping that shit right off of his body. You are one of my new favorite people!

Taylor Swift: Best Dressed At The Grammy Awards

Image

So let us all take a moment to just stop and stare at this beautiful dress that the one and only Taylor Swift wore on the red carpet at the 2014 Grammy Awards. Oh my lord it is incredible! Just look at how perfect it is, especially on her. Now in my humble opinion I think that Taylor should eat a burger or two but you know what, she still looks incredible in this dress.

I know that I jumped to saying this very prematurity simply because I didn’t see all of the other dresses but this is by far my favorite out of the say 20 that I have seen. Pink’s was great but we already went over that one. Taylor just fucking glows in this dress, she looks way better than she did at the Golden Globe Awards.

The only bad thing I have to say about this look is Taylor’s face and I know that sounds really harsh, I know. She just looked tired or something, I couldn’t put my finger on it. Maybe she has been away listening to Selena cry about Justin or maybe she is celebrating because she knows that he will never be her competition ever again? Who knows?! Just get some rest girl so you don’t look so damn tired. Then again getting ready for the show probably took up a few hours so she couldn’t get all that beauty rest.

Although Taylor went home empty handed at least she looked absolutely fabulous doing so, plus I am sure she will cozy up to someone and bring them home as an award. Well probably not but that would be cool right? She needs to get some new material so it might be happening soon!

Pink and Carey Hart Won The Red Carpet As Best Couple At The Grammy’s

ImageSo I have always loved this couple, I have always thought they were perfect and when they almost got that divorce I remember being oh so devastated. Thankfully for fans everywhere they never actually went through with it and instead at going strong and have a kid. This couple has come a long way though, right? I mean if you remember back in the day Carey Hart would never wear a damn suit! He was nothing but a motocross junkie and let’s not even get into Pink. She had well neon pink hair and dressed like a dude, no gorgeous red dresses in site!

Remember back when Pink proposed to him though? Ugh, from that day on I knew they would be prom kind and queen, at least punk rock prom queen. Looking at this photo though I have to pick my fucking jaw from my desk since I am complete awe over how Pink looks in this dress! She has become quiet the fashionista over that past few years and I really love.

Can we be honest, Pink became famous back when Britney and Christina were at the top of their games! Then came along Pink who had a whole new sound and different look. Not many people thought she would last, look at her now. She is nominated for a few Grammy’s tonight and where are they? Britney is obviously sitting at her house eating Cheetos and Christina is crying.

Thank you for looking amazing Pink and Carey thank you for being sexy as fuck. Together I hope you create more little babies and Pink I hope you keep creating incredible songs!

Austin Mahone Looks Incredible At The Grammy’s

Image

Well now that Bieber is out for good Austin Mahone has stepped up big time, and he knows it. Tonight this is how he rolled up to the Grammy’s look at him. Look at that big grin, look at how happy he is because he knows, he is aware that he just won the rivalry between him and Bieber. Honestly, I don’t know if there was a rivalry but it is over now!

Look at him with his little pushed back hair, no more shaggy hair for him! He is almost 18, he is a grown ass man! Well almost….In a few months he will be 18, so that is a good thing! I wont feel as creepy whenever I write about him. I now understand the count down when the Olsen twins were turning 18.

He is my absolute favorite cougar bait and guess what, I don’t feel ashamed! He just released that song with Pitbull and now here he is smiling on the Grammy’s red carpet.

I see big things ahead in Austin Mahone’s future, you go Austin Mahone, keep being amazing.

Taylor Swift crushes the AMA carpet

Image

Let’s be real, this is T.Swifts sexiest look ever right? Golden sandal heels, legs for days, messy sex hair, and a short ass dress. This is one of the first times she decided not to wear a fucking prom dress to an award show and she made the right decision. My theory is that she knew that Harry Styles and Kendall would be there so she needed to vamp it up.

Brava T.Swift, you won the competition. With those legs for days, that light make up, and crazy sex hair you won this war.

There is nothing she does better than revenge or apparently fashion.

Miley Cyrus won the AMAs

Yes, I am aware that Miley wasn’t nominated for any awards this year because her record came out too late in the year but home girl did incredible closing the show. I mean I feel like people are finally accepting that she is talented as hell. Now the thing that is really getting to me is that everyone is focusing on the video in the background. Who cares?! She had a flying cat in the background, whatever. It was just there to chill, what is this performance too calm?

People are going to hate on her no matter what, whether she keeps it PG-13 or makes her performance R rated. Clearly she didnt want another mess like the VMAs so she wanted to dress a little risky and sing with a cat, better than singing with Robin Thicke.

All I can say is that whoever put together the AMAs did it right making her perform last because people wanted to see how she would act. In my opinion, she did fucking fabulous, hell I think she even almost started to cry.

You go Miley Cyrus!
